good idea! I hope they are sympathetic, the 11th is far too long to wait while you are in pain, there must be some better painkillers available for you.
    I hope you get sorted!xx

    Morning all

Oh Scuzz :grouphug: I think Kyle and the other are right, I know it will be hard, but try to give him some space to sort himself out. Go and give yourself a girlie day out shopping, that always helps.

Dry here today, so WM will be on shortly. 5p listing day on Ebay for anything 99p, so will sort out somethings to list later.

Gammon joint in the SC for tea, with oven chips and beans.

Splashed out and ordered the Morphy Richards breadmaker for £29.55, I already have an Hinari one, but the MR makes jam and cakes and with all the fruit I have growing, the jam function persuaded me :D Thanks to the OSer who posted the offer :T

Hope everyone has a good one x

Hugs scuzz - what a dilema - just remember that this guy is expecting you to make a big step - leaving your home and country. My dsis went to canada some 10 years ago to marry a guy she had met through work and had only really seen a few times. she regretted it to some extent (she got married here and left a couple of days after - he started on her on the plane) and is now a single parent over there but won't come home as she has a really nice life there.

Well big thrills for youngest dd as she knows one of the BB contestants. I think her name is carol and she knows her as exoh is a proper leftie and she spends most of her Daddy Weekends campaigning for this or that. This is the second time this has happened as dd used to ride around on George Galloway's battle bus with exoh. I hope that carol won't be as embarassing as george :)

i am keeping dd home for another day - her temperature is down and the redness on her foot is receding but she can't put any weight on it and middle dd who does my holiday childcare has a busy day out and about and is looking after a friend's baby so with the best will in the world I can't be sure that she will get enough rest or that dd will remember her meds. having only just made that decision I am sitting here in my work suit so will get changed in a bit and start the day again :)
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Good morning all!

Lovely sunny day here, so WM is on - ever optimistic!

(((((Scuzz))))) - have to say I agree wholeheartedly with Kyle, but know that it is hard to do.

This morning DS doesn't have his piano lesson, as his teacher is on hols. So I can go into work a bit earlier than usual.

Dustbin day today. I can't see what all the fuss is about on the news etc with 2-weekly non-recyclables collection. I think there is about 3 or 4 small carrier bags full lurking somewhere near the bottom of our wheelie bin. Ok, there are only 3 of us, and none of us in nappies!!! But then again, even when the bin system first came in and there were 5 of us, and you couldn't recycle as much as you can now I still only put out 1/2 a binful fortnightly. (And as far as nappies are concerned, I still have most of the nappies we used for our babies! They make lovely small white towels for cleaning things with!)

I have come to the conclusion that living OS partly means that - if all you're going to do with something is chuck it straight into the bin, don't buy it in the first place!!!!!

Anyway, that's my take on it!

Have a good day! :hello: to everyone!

    Morning eveeryone.
Scuzz, hugs to you, what everyone has said makes sense.
Aime- The BB kitchen would be a OS nightmare, i think it is dangerous having oven in the bedroom!!
Catowen- Boys sleep-overs are great, they just need food and footy and they will be soooooooo good!!LOL

Well dh has gone back to work this morning hes still in alot of pain but has been off just over a week, so hoping he takes it easy and doesnt push hiself to much.
Plans for today take ds3 to have his hair cut ready for footy presentation night on saturday, he is having his number shaved into back of his head, most of the team are, not sure what school will think but will make some great photos come saturday night!!!
Have washing on line already hoping it will dry before it rains!
The witch at the top of the garden has returned from her hoidays, and has had a load of fencing delivered yesterday, think the builders must be due today or tommorow, so im ready for kicking off if they even attemped to touch the fence that i had to put right, we have landscaped it behind it now, have loads of plants and flowers and solar lights in. If they think they are going to rip the fence out they have another thing coming!!

    Right off for another coffee
    Catch you all later

They did say she had stood as a 'Respect' candidiate at the last election (Georges party)!!! Love BB, although im not one who panics if i miss any of it (normally pretty easy to catch up, and anything exciting is repeated in the papers etc!!! I quite like Carol, she will either be really good, or really annoying i think - also like the Welsh girl (is it Laura??) but most of the others are the normal mix of airheads!!!

dlb - love the idea of shaving their numbers in their hair!!! Its prob good that the sleepover ties in with the England match then!!! Mind you, if DD had a sleepover with a friend, i think High School Musical would keep them happy (and me, i quite like it:o )!!! Someone was saying about the ice show yesterday - the new film will be in the USA in August, and on the Disney channel here in September!!!!

    Good Morning all
Another overcast day here in Berkshire & I expect it will rain soon. Work for me today, but not till 9 so a lazy start. I met a friend for lunch yesterday & she gave me a carrier bag full of books, that will keep me busy for a couple of days.
The fish are fed, Thumper & Ogden's door is open, but they are too busy tucking into cabbage stalks to come out. I will try to take pics of them this weekend if the weather is fine.
I'm going to do some ironing before I go to work & am doing lamb chops, carrots & mash tonight, the chops are defrosting as I type, the potatoes are a bit soft, but not green, hence the mash & the carrots have seen better days, lol. Still, it's payday today, woo hoo, fresh food will be on the menu for next week. I plan to go to MR T's tomorrow & stock up for the next 3 months.
Hope everyone has a good day,
    Hugs Hester

    Morning all :D

    - Hugs to you. Unfortunately I know ultimately it's your choice and no one elses you need to consider if are you happy to keep on being treated like this?

    catowen
    - Sorry to hear about your friend

Well went home last night and got a far bit of the ironing done (still loads to go this evening though!) and made toad in the hole for dinner. The relationship book I ordered last week finally arrived so I did want to sit down and have a read of that but I seemed to get distracted by other things (oh ok I sat and watched big brother!)

Anyway plans for this evening is to finish the ironing, cook dinner and depending on time maybe have a quick clean through the house although this could probally wait until tomorrow if needed.

Hope everyone else is OK, take or leave the :grouphug: as needed
