You have to remember that half the iPhones sold as to chav's as a fashion accessory. They wouldn't know a quality bit of tech if you beat them over the head with it :)

I find it hard to believe that people would pay £400+ for a phone that feels like its made from recycled ice cream tubs.
I didn't know that's what iPhones are made from! Learn something new every day!!

    iPhones are sooooo yesterday!!!

People tend not to buy phones based on how fast they are. They tend to buy them for the experience they offer (which ironically, does include how 'fast' they are, but not in benchmark terms).

    You misunderstand.

Have you checked the materials used to make a Samsung Galaxy s3 or s4?

Compared to an iPhone 4S or 5, or an HTC ONE?

Does it matter? drop any of them and they are bust. Maybe some a bit less bust, but still cream crackered.

They aren't built to be dropped, and that is a straw man argument.

The point being made is the cheap shiny scrap plastic used in the Galaxy models. Samsung fans go all gooey as if the S4 is some sort of object to aspire to when it is made of plastic that failed QC to make cheap garden furniture.

When they make a phone with the build quality of an iPhone or the HTC one, then they can pretend to have a genuine top class phone.

I would agree with that, definitely prevalent around my area.

Usually in a garish colour like purple.

I think you misunderstood! I was being sarcastic! Probably too subtle for an applecrap lover. I knew that you were referring to the Samsung because the iPhone looks like a badly crushed drink can!!!!!! Anyway, just check who makes most of the components for the iphone. Perhaps you can use your super dooper coke can to find the answer!
