Ticked from UKPS for displayinh invalid permit

Hi, I got parking ticket today for displaying invalid permit. It's quite funny as it was issued on private estate car park that i was parking my car for last 3 years with the same permit. I've seen that about 30% of parked cars had tickets sticked to windscreens. Rest of them had some different permits so it's possible that different company is in charge of car park now, but they failed to issue new permits to all people living here, i never reicived any notice. I cannot decribe how angry i am now, should i write an appeal letter to them?

yes it seems like ukps took over menagment over that parking. I never noticed that they changed signs as they look simillar to previous ones. I noticed that there's still loads of cars with old permits

So they changed parking scammers and didn't notify anyone. A typical ploy of these idiots. Wait until you get the notice to keeper from day 28-56 after today then send this to them.

    Name
    Address

    Date

    Dear Scammers,

In regards to the invoice received with ref number xxxxxx dated xxxxxx, the keeper denies all liability to your company, if you reject this challenge the keeper requires within 35 days a popla verification code for them to appeal independently, per Version 3 of the BPA Code of Practice.

The keeper has nothing further to add, and will not respond to any correspondence from your company unless it contains the popla code. If you wish to find out why the keeper rejects all liability, pay the £27 plus vat to popla to find out

The challenge will be deemed accepted if there is no popla code on any rejection that you supply within the time-frame stipulated above.

    Yours Faithfully

    Your name (printed)

I'm still wondering how other people menaged to get new permits. So You think it's better just to ignore them for now? I still need to use same parking space and it's sure that they will try to issue another notice. Is there any point of phoning them and telling that i need a new permit? Thanks for your help

Well you could try I suppose, they will likely tell you must pay the scam invoice first. But could you give us a few more details, is this a parking bay assigned to your property? Is this your property or rented ? What does the lease say about parking ? Does it mention a permit scheme? What about the management company if there is one, what have they said about this?

it's rented flat with quite big parking. I signed new agreement with agency last month and i don't think that there's anything about parking. About 3 years ago i received a letter from menagement company that they putting permit scheme in live and that comany in charge of that will issue permits to people at 2 different dates just to ensure that everybody got one. Every flat got bay with flat no. But there's still half without any no.

Does your flat have an assigned parking bay ? And what does your current permit say ? If you ain't had another with ukps on it what are you supposed to do ?

So in other words they are ticketing you in your own parking bay that is assigned to your flat. And they haven't given you a permit. Now you don't need a permit or scrap of paper to park in your property (whether rented or not) and you could withdraw consent for them to enter the property.

They are probably not even supposed to be going there and should be on the roads on the site etc. Ask your landlord about the lease, not the rental one, but their lease for the property, if it doesn't mention permits it doesn't apply to your situation. Very very few leases mention that.

Have you asked the management company where your new pass is, why you didn't get one when others did and in view of the fact they didn't issue you a new ticket, they must instruct the PPC to cancel your ticket?

Surely that has got to be the first step or am I missing something?
