You looked at the wrong bit, on pepipoo and ignored the other link. Look at the archive link (pre POFA) which has loads of examples which haven't changed post-POFA. There are two distinct links there on that thread 'PPC letter chains'.

I do realise your case is post-POFA but the archive thread is still a great info resource!

Out of interest, I would get this cancelled through your gym.

Demand to see the manager face to face and tell him to cancel it (you were there as a genuine customer on the day!!) or to cancel your membership immediately and tell him you will tell friends and family to do the same. They CAN do it with one simple phone call, right up until the court appearance stage. Don't let them fob you off.

The gym doesn't even see any revenue from these tickets, PE do it for 'free'! This can be dealt with extremely simply IMO.

Most links do still work and the number and style of letters are pretty similar nowadays. People have safely ignored these for YEARS and the whole junkmail flurry might last 6 - 12 months altogether, typically. It's just that the current advice is better than ignoring, if ever you pick up another fake PCN, because we know how to hit them where it hurts and get these cancelled at POPLA stage appeal at their own expense.

Well i have recieved 2 more letters today.....i did not realise but they have 2 claims currently against me 2 different dates , both around 7 days apart back in early May 2013

Both are from zenith collections

both state "Notice of intention to commence legal proceedings" both letters are different , one is giving me a further 7 days to accept there reduced 79.99 offer saying if i dont pay and IF the case reaches court and a county court judgment is obtained , then a break down of the possible costs....

Whats the general opinion ? should i keep on ignoring?

I do have photos of both letters , but i do not seem to be able to attach the jpgs to the post , only if i have HTML link to the pictures , i presume , i would need to upload them , but only to happy to do so , if you would like a copy of the letters for the sites info etc , i have already removed all my personal details and any references of numbers or name and address that would identify me.

justwondering, I am just wondering (sorry :P) why the heck you haven't stormed into the gym managers office and demanded they cancel this ticket or you will be taking your business elsewhere. I am a member at a gym myself, and £79.00 is equal to just under 3 months of business. To me, it's in the gyms interest to keep your business, is it not?

As someone has said above, the Gym could have this ticket cancelled very easily. The fact they haven't is probably because you haven't kicked off enough.

Have a look at my post above yours where you seemed to have completely missed the point of all the MANY listed DRP and Zenith letters in the pre-POFA thread.

And totally agree with Stoke about the complaint, which is the obvious reaction.
