Charging £10 for statements

    hi all sum times u dont have to send £10 cap 1 didnt want the money and my tsb well i did send them a cheque for the tenner cashed it then took another £10 out of my account for the statements cheecky !!!!!!s lol

    The banks may or may not charge the £10 for a SAR request but not to send this will only delay receiving the information asked for.

    Same with phoning and asking for copies of your statements, all banks are entitled to and frequently do charge for a copy of your statement up to £5 per page.

    Read Martin's article and use the template provided for your SAR request and send it along with your £10 cheque.
