The "no frills, no gremlins (hopefully)" cross-stitch cafe

We are friends - we wouldn't have met if it wasn't via the cafe. We have known each other so long. We all went through your pregancy with babywiggle and afterwards - I know we a haven't met but its like we have. Please don't go. You are so supportive of others and myself. You are part of the cafe culture, as someone put it part of the furniture.

Everyone else - I thank - you have all be so supportive to me through out the years. You encouraged me to finish my floral alphabet even tho it was all messy after being in the shed for so long. You have shown me new ideas like blackwork - which is now a new love.

You all help me via other stuff in life out of cross stitch. That is why I love the cafe it is like a wee cafe we all meet at and have a stitch and b*tch. Think it would be an amazing atmosphere if we ever all met up. What a cross stitch club that would be. But we are all here for each other in virtual.

Well better get on with my Sandy Hook bear - nearly done - just a wee bit to do and then onto the one for the school and then one for the hospital.

Afternoon everyone,

Just been and fed my stray cat and her now 9 week old six kittens.

We still have not managed to catch them, and they are now too old to be domesticated, so I will be keeping them as farm cats.

Need to get mother cat to the vets, so will be investing in a cat trap. We have had one tom cat visiting a few days ago, so she needs to be done (they can have 3 litters a year :eek:).

And I think I need to start investing in cat food shares!

Its been a grey and rainy day here so ive had plenty of stitching time.

Im really enjoying my current project but im struggling to stay focused. ...I keep thinking of what im going to stitch next. How do you manage to keep focused.........help

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: apparently i am a bully* and a numpty* according to the other thread and she's been advised to report me to MSE to stop me being nasty to anyone else so I might be gone thro no choice of my own.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone, I was honestly only trying to help but some people can't see past their own self worth.

Really:eek: oh my god. I know you can't say who but I don't think they are being very truthful. Ive never seen anyone on this thread being bullied. I hate bullying with a passion and if I ever thought of you were bullying anyone I would have reported you myself.

wooops missed an important point out -
*nb - not their words - words of people who have never met me. but they are not disagreeing.

I made sure my PM was in no way bullying and rather polite advice, i even apologised if it was taken the wrong way.
hopefully MSE mods will have the common sense to hear all sides and ask others opinions before they throw the book at me as i'd miss you all (at times you've been more like family than my family)

:hello: Found you in our new home. Sorry I haven't felt like posting in last few weeks as my head has been a bit messed up with stuff but I have been popping in now and then and seen some lovely work. Well done girls. :T

I have had to put Lets do Wine to one side as it was seriously sending me around the twist. After doing it for maybe 15 mins I just wanted to scream. Have decided if it is not done for Oct it will be done for friends xmas pressie instead (hopefully this will take the pressure off). Have restarted Sleeping Beauty and making reasonable progress with that. Will post an update when page 7 complete.

Note for chicky - I don't know what is going on but please don't go. We need you.

Right - off now to go back to page 1 to read all the posts on new thread and have every intention of making this a stitchy night :j
