Happy new year! Lucky us, being cooked a meal by our nearly 12 yr old. Proper pizza and dough balls. Driving me slightly batty, but I'm sure it will be lovely! All our xmas stuff is away in the loft, and it was so much easier to use the big bags I got from the Dotcomgiftshop last year than the usual boxes.
    I hope everyone has a happy 2014.

It's ok sq but thanks :) I get an hour to nip back home to have my tea and a couple of snack breaks in the car between calls. The weekend shift had me on my knees but I guess Ill get used to it.

Happy new year everyone, here's to a fresh start and hopefully a happier year.

We were going to go out, but we fell asleep!! Earlier we had been to DD house for takeaway.

Me and OH have next week off, and Monday I am at the spa Christmas present from OH) and then Wednesday we are going to Cardiff for a couple of days. Will visit OH aunt who is quite poorly. Found a hotel room for £30 for the night, will manage to find a pub for a bar snack for tea.

Futher aims for the year are to loose weight, sell more unwanted items via landofbay or car booties in the summer. We are having our first holiday ever with out any children with us in September, and we have a lot of saving to do to be able to actually go.

Can somebody tell me how/why you can meet a gorgeous man, tall and charming with lovely black hair, dressed in black leather with a really nice bike....
... and then one day wake up beside a ratty, crabby, grumpy old bald sod who never stops moaning and drives you MAD?:mad: Just tell me how that happens! :rotfl:

Did he get annoying round about retirement when you started spending 24/7 together?
  • MAR I think nature is very unkind. Himself was a beautiful tanned blond headed 21 year old with muscles on muscles when I met him and with the cutest bum Today next to me is a grey haired, almost 70 year old sleeping like a baby.

I do actually still love him though, but as I say nature is very unkind, and nobody told me about this when I was 21

I still love mine too but would love him more if he had his lips sewn shut.
