Hi fuddle
I have the paupers cookbook, got from the land of bay, paid about 2 quid, some good recipes and ideas for stretching or padding out meals, but wouldn't want to pay more than i did, I've seen it on amazone for over a tenner New!,,
,re proving... cold kitchen here too, so i put the oven on for a bit, switch it off, put a big towel over the front with the door open and make like a proving cabinet, also heard if you put the dough in the microwave it heats up the enclosed environment and proves ok but not tried that..today's mood is brought to you by coffee, lack of sleep and idiots.

IS real life not stressful, hurtful and upsetting enough? that we need to add to it online as well?
I really do not understand how we got from celebrating Ginnys wonderful news to this yet again, but I know I cannot take it at all at the moment0 -
fuddle - paupers' cookbook is great. I stole my mum's copy as she knows her favourite recipes off by heart (she was given it when she got married) and I find it useful for staples and ideas, although some of the ingredients are fairly dated, and stuff that is cheap and plentiful now was a luxury then!
Possession - re. dogs. Remember that if there are two of them they may decide to go in for a little bit of private enterprise togetherThey are much more likely to wander if they bond with each other rather than you. But then again, if you are out a lot, they won't get lonely. Maybe talk to the rescue place to see what they think.

I will try and see if I am able to get a couple of spare copies of the mirror later from the local shop as they pack up. If I do will send to anyone who has forgotten or couldn't get a copy today.

Cornish chick was just sat here thinking about you and hubby and hoping things were better today. Have a lovely time with friends and family the next few days.
I have a 3kg ham in the pan slowly cooking before popping it in the oven to finish off. Should have been £13 but got it ys for £4 :j:j My DS prefers it to any meat at Christmas so half for him and half for us. It should do a good few meals. I guess I had better get on with blitzing the living room and waiting for the post. Hubby has gone to sit and drink coffee at a friends whilst sitting untangling the friends Christmas lights - one of those men who needs a lot of help with simple tasksSo I have a few hours of peace. Have already found 3 Christmas bits that I had stashed.

He is really struggling at the moment to sleep as we'll so we are both very tired witch doe not help .
Jem, when I was looking for resources and ideas to help my DS2 (now late-teens) to sleep - he's always been a bit of an insomniac (doesn't have autism or any related conditions, just finds it hard to switch off!) - I came across the idea of weighted blankets for children with autism and I wondered if this kind of thing might work with your son. It's expensive to buy ready-made ones but I wonder if an internet search could show up some way of making your own or improvising.

I too have a very rare day of peace Ginny. The RV has gone to play with the son's bike, fixing his brakes. Am sitting in the sun putting off doing anything at all lol0
