I've seen the lady every time I've been into town and will continue to give a little every time I walk past, thank you. I didn't want to take a magazine in case I take a copy that could contribute to her not having any more to sell but now I know she has to sell them in order to get her money I will buy.

When I start working our life won't be finacially tough so I'm worried that I won't fit in here any more. I'd still like to stay to learn tips and tricks if that's ok because OS isn't just the coping strategy I stumbled upon but it's my way of life now.

Fuddle of course you can stay. We all have different amounts of money, on payday I am rich and then the DD come out and im poor again!!

Did a bit of eeebay listing and all has sold so far. Need a big trip to the post office in the morning. I am so glad I took the time to sort and sell them.

Had a migraine again last night, it woke me up. I took a tablet, but feel so drained today. Tomorrow mum has a heart scan, so another stressful trip.

Must go, tea needs sorting. take care x

Mine isn't really tough at the moment, it has been though. I stay on here as I am an old FA*t and have been a few laps round the rough end of life, so maybe what cobbly old stuff I know can be of use to someone.

I don't want my life to get tough again, so I stay with the old style ways by and large.

Life changes, and not always for the better.

Many of us going through tough times need the support and cheering of those that really understand because we have walked the walk.
  • Hokay, Olaf the piggy has been at the vetty persons all day havinghis little toofies ground again and this time he's come home and is eating for england so I hope the vetty person has fixed him. He also has a deep wound on the back of his mouth and a sore and grazed cheek as his likkle toofies had jagged spikes and hooks on them. This has cost a very large amount of money but is entirely worth it. He is currently taking alternate bites of apple, carrot, oatcake and lettuce and looking hungry, a vast improvement on the past week!!!

Roast Potatoes Lyns way... Cut your potatoes into chunks the size you like and drop them into a pan of boiling salted water, reduce it to a simmer and cook them for at the most 5 minutes. Drain them well, put them back into the saucepan, put the lid on the pan and give the potatoes inside a good shake until they look roughened on the outsides. Have your oven good and hot before you start. Spray an oven tray with an oil spray or run a little oil over it and coat it. Turn the potatoes into a bowl and sprinkle them with about a heaped tablespoonful of semolina and turn them with your hands to coat them all over. Put them onto the baking tray and spray liberally with the oil spray or drizzle some oil over them on the tray. Put them into the very hot oven for about half an hour to 45 minutes, turn them over halfway through cooking and you should end up with very crispy brown and crunchy but not fatty roast potatoes.

FUDDLE it really doesn't matter what your income ends up as, you are part of us, one of the family of OSers please don't stop being just that, whatever change of circumstances happen in your life to make it better we will be so happy for you to know that you aren't having to struggle along any more, please stay, you'll always belong and we all care about you and like sharing the good times as well as the hard ones, Lyn xxx.
