I'm chuffed on a total high tonight
:D:D:D
Had a really good night at the school volunteering i got this little boy to join in for the very first time. He sang a song, played lots of games and didn't cry once.:D
his mum was trying so hard but he was to shy, so i sat on my special chair and asked if he would like to come and sit next to me. The chair is tiny but cushioned and when i sit on it i'm at the same height as the most of the children. So its perfect. He then came over grabbed my arm put around him and started singing all by himself  me and his mum were so shocked. All the other staff were shocked, the younger ones have taken to me (they words not mine). It was such a surprise, then after we had special play together and it was fab. All the kids love going and kept saying we missed you last week (it was half term), some in broken english mixed with italo / bangladeshi.
The little fella was very shy so im absolutely chuffed to bits. The little ones followed me round all night showing me all the things they made with they parents.
One lady whose daughter goes to a special needs school has now made lots of little friends! She also now at least as the beginnings of a support group, just within our hub alone. Before she had no one!
We have 7 different languages within our 10 families, so its manic trying to get everyone together and chatting.
DS2 coped really well this time and played with his friends while ds1 assisted with the kids.
Forum meeting went well, got lots of stuff done and loads of scrummy food
Managed to sort OH out all at the same time, swear my brains going all over the place. No wonder i don't sleep :rotfl:
Came back to lots of hm pakoras and hm quiche

Don't want to think about dental work. I need a new palate and I can just feel how expensive its going to be.:eek::eek:
Am off now to try an early night in bed. Have such a busy day tomorrow - longer hours than when I was in paid work. Hope to check in tomorrow evening.

Well ive had a !!!!! day today, my little chihuahua had another stroke at breakfast time today........
And her legs are all over the place and her balance, so in the morning I will have to take her to the vets for the last time..........
She is 16 , and weve given her a wonder life and home in that time , it would be cruel to keep her any longer how she is right now, we dont think she is in any pain whatsoever , but just want to have a last night with her .............
Ive had a real poxy bad week , sometimes you just think "can it get any worse"..................And yes it can......
Hope your all bearing up with the long dark cold nights....Sheila
