I made it Ginny. Beware it's very sinful. Evaporated milk, peanut butter, brown sugar, marshmallow fluff (but I'm sure marshmallows would do). Throw it in. Bring to boil. Allow to cool a little. Pour over icecream. Eat and enjoy.0

OOh that sound lush, I have fluff in as well, although I keep it strictly under lock and key otherwise the kids would have eaten it all by now!0 -

I know I asked ages ago and got some ideas from you all but I have lost all my saved posts when my laptop died, so can I please trouble you again, I am heading to Bognor for half term with the three youngest, and am looking for ideas of places to visit. I am heading to Portsmouth to see the Mary Rose (I have always been fascinated since I watched it being recovered) and I am thinking I will stop in Oxford on the way there, but have the rest of the week to fill.0

Kidcat: Nelson's Victory is at Portsmouth too. If you go I will lean out of my bedroom window and wave to you from the IOW. The only place I know in Bognor is Butlins. Bet you don't get away without a visit there. If you want quaint places along the coast Bosham is picturesque and there are lots of things going on in and around Chichester.
Sorry, when you live in a place you don't go sightseeing and forget what visitors may like to see. Oh, Singleton, just North of Chichester, towards Goodwood, has a fascinating open air museum, The Weald and Downland. Not sure how interested your littlies would be though.
Hope the weather is nice for you.I believe that friends are quiet angels

thanks Cranky40 for your suggestion. Will see if I can hint that to him. I think there might be a woman there who might be able to help if they can both spare the time that is, DH is so busy at work all the time now. I think he is struggling more with the hours he is needing to put in and the strong painkillers he needs to take daily make it difficult to concentrate by the end of the day. Trouble is like some men, he finds it difficult to ask for help.

My bread:)it looks better than the images suggest...It still seems heavy but it appears to have been baked correctly(nothing sticking to a knife I inserted) I think that I may be better baking "Normal" bread and avoiding sourdough loaves but we'll see.
The texture is so close to being as it should be but is just not quite right but its eatable.

Morning all
Back door wide open again this morning, looks like its going to be another lovely one.
Did my banking for the month yesterday and got a bit glum about just how much everything seems to be costing. I'm very greatful that we don't need the heating on yet but the other basics are so pricey. I'm going to have to really pull the grocery budget in (it has been slipping slightly each week and that really mounts up). So today will see a month long plan of every meal and hopefully I can get back on track.
Not sure how we will cope when DD1 goes to Uni next year as we lose her TC, CB and some from CSA payments, it equates to nearly £100 per week lost! Eeeeek!!!!"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0
