Today boys are both home yey.
Yesterday had a bit of a tiz when we found out ds9 knows the code to the big electronic school gate and was told if he tells anyone he will be excluded. I asked if they could change it and was told no as 1500 people would have to be told it.
But it's a child protection issue him knowing it he has promised not to tell anyone but when he's in that hightoned state he will because he has no idea what he's doing.
And could possibly use it to get out himself.
I am unsure as to what to do.
Chicken and mushroom pie for tea mmmmmI have dyslexia so I apologize for my spelling and grammar0 -
jem - the code should be changed immediately. Ask for a copy of their risk assessment which incorporates him knowing the code
Just because its inconvenient doesnt mean they can shirk their responsibilities.

Morning all.
Been a little under the weather the past few days & I’ve also had yet another falling out with my side of the family over their selfishness.
I cant understand how they can call their selves family yet, Will quite willingly throw the brown stuff towards one of their own.
Depression isn’t great at the moment. I think there is just so much going on that I feel I cant keep up.
OH is working away today. Only over night, Which is just about bearable
Terrible news about the poor people in the US. These tough times are spreading like wildfire. The fact that some people believe that the Americans have brought it on their selves is ridiculous! Make’s me cross!
Anyways, I’m going to throw myself into some organising!
Hugs to all that need / want one! xxFuture goals:

Jem,
Just wanted to say that you have been given waffle! It is now a matter of child(ren) protection. The fact the code could be bullied out of your child hasn’t been considered. I would ask for their risk assessment. Also I would contact the head of department over the matter.
The part about 1500 people would need telling is easy enough because many times these codes are sent internally anyways.

Morning peeps
Hugs to all who need them and well done everyone for getting through another day. onwards and upwards, we will get there together.
Feeling a bit of a flat Stanley but plodding on as lots to do. Just had a 2nd breakfast of bread and jam and a yoghurt, not the healthiest but what I fancied. Going to the gym at lunchtime so need to eat now and luckily I was hungry.
Planned to go and use a 2nd Allydee voucher but weather is sunny and I have towels to wash so changed plans and came home after school run (and stopping for a chinwag at school gates) Might squeeze the Allydee shop after the gym on the way back to school. What an exciting life I lead ha ha!
Having minor financial panic, bank account looks pretty healthy but remembered it's a 5 week month pay wise and boys need winter coats and new shoes and trainers and I need a winter's coat and ideally boots. Not sure how we are going to pay for it all other than dip into the house repairs fund which isn't good as repairs getting more urgent as time goes by. Car is also old and we have no savings for that, will try and set a separate savings pot for that but nothing much left over each month as it is. Sorry, not moaning just thinking aloud. I will need to rev up the thriftiness I think!
I was chatting to School Cook, we are quite friendly now, talking about school dinners naturally. She said it's becoming more evident how poor some families are. Recently she saw one child's packed lunch was green , another had a rock hard sausage roll in and a third just a yoghurt and some carrot sticks. She steps in and unofficially gives them a school dinner. She has to account for all the food and puts them down as things like children dropping their plates of food etc. She said if anyone pulls her up about the stocktaking etc she will pay for the extra meals herself, she can't bear to see children suffer. What an absolute diamond she is, nearly had us both in tears talking about it. Thank goodness there are people like that in our world - Monnagran you immediately spring to mind.
thanks for risotto recipe, haven't made one since my old Jammy Olives book vanished years ago, there was a yummy mushroom risotto in there. Talking of which....
drum roll......
I won the new Jammy Olives cook book thanks very much to MSE comp.... not sure if I told you guys before. Lucky me :j

Mine had too Jem but has just this minute reappeared!
Went to JC yesterday to take all our documentation for income support, I know they need to see all the stuff but heavens, about all they didn't ask for was the colour of our underwear!! Took an age as we had confusing stuff like the bank account in our names where the money for DD's respite goes - not our money though - so she had to write loads of notes about it - did thank us for explaining it all to her so she'd know for another time. We're way under the £6 limit but as DH has shares from his old work it all had to be explained in minute detail.
DH was a bit too organised getting the chair out too early so DD demanded to go to school immediately - she was only the third kid in the playground so got a good long play - so pleased she is so keen to get to school, even if she was pushing me away and insistently signing "bye, go home" to me as I was trying to speak to her TA!
Got the living room and bathroom done between us before putting channa dahl on for tea and sitting down to do some OU for an hour. DH made lunch and ten we're off to our support group this afternoon before picking up DS from nursery, DD from school and then heading off for the hospital for Orthotics. I am so glad to have DH home (sorry kidcat, I know you really need the same) as today would have just been such a hassle without him.
Take care all - hugs where needed or appreciated - X0 -
Stiltwalker am so glad its all going well for you.0
