Oh God wind turbines (they always remind me of swans, I don't know why but they do!) and Dippy Eggs for tea, please say there will be soldiers too? Two of my most favourite things in life, along of course with small black Lurchers and a He Who Knows it doesn't get closer to heaven than that does it? Cheers Lyn xxx.

MONNAGRAN don't be sad, you touched his life and made him feel loved in a world where he wasn't noticed by others, how fitting that his posessions be given to perhaps the only person on Gods earth who did give a damn for him, it is beautiful and almost poetic but I can believe it's hard to deal with. You might not know his last name but you're probably the last person to make him smile and feel happy, you're a good soul and he knew it, would that there were more like you, it would be a much better world, Love Lyn xxx.

Monnagran, I couldn't have put this post better myself.
    Well put Lyn. Xx

Hi Bunbun2, hope all goes well for tomorrow. Everything crossed for you.
Well, that's my dippy eggs and soldiers done, they were delish! I have a good friend who calls me Ma and when I am at my cluckiest Ma Hen. He often jests about me devouring my young..... not nice! Nor is his description of me as gathering others up for protection under my ample wings! Anyone know of any bingo wing exercises......?

I usually put half of a half pound of butter into one of those little plastic boxes that come with rice in and leave it on my marble pastry slab in the kitchen. It keeps it cool yet spreadable.I love lurpak but the spreadable one is getting very pricy. If I see a block on special offer I will get several and freeze what I don't need to use straight away.
Lovely word picture painted there, I too wish I could paint as I can see such beautiful things at times locally but have to use my camera for them.DGD Holly's boyfriend is a plumber by trade yet he can draw the most amazing pictures freehand. He did one last week for me which I have framed and its just a pencil and charcoal drawing but I was touched that he bothered.
Me I can only draw my pay or my breath and nothing else :):)
Its been a gorgeous day here in Kent and it was so nice to go out without a cardi or coat on for a v
change.Happy Birthday pooky hope you get thoroughly spoiled .
So nice to see everyone chatting away ,just as though we were all hanging over the fence :):):)

Hi JackieO, I joined a water colour course for beginners once. I was convinced I would be able to paint. My hands had other ideas! Oh well at least I tried, I to use my camera to catch an image and I do try to put it into words as that gives me as much pleasure.
I live in a row of terraced houses with a communal area at the back leading to individual gardens and so summer is a hive of comings and goings. we all look after each other, helping each other if we need it, and if you need something there is usually some one who has it! I am very lucky.

Well I've just had tuna mayo and salad sandwich. Couldn't really be bothered to make anything else tonight. :o I'll probably be hungry later though.
    Quick trip to supermarket shortly.

  • BUNBUN don't worry too much about your DSs proceedure tomorrow, he'll be asleep throughout and in the hands of people who are experts, worth the worry to get a diagnosos and deal with whatever the problem is and for him have a better life? Coeliac is dealable with and once you know you can adjust the diet accordingly. Having said that lovie, I'm a Mum too and can really understand that butterflys feeling and wishing it was over and done with, he'll be fine and so will you, we're here and all wishing you both well, and here to talk to and share your worries with if you need us, you will let us know all is well tomorrow won't you? Hugs and Love to you both, Lyn xxx.

Bunbun my youngest DD had this procedure last Autumn but didn't have the general anaesthetic. I don't know if your DS is old enough to have it without this, as it does mean you get over it more quickly and she was fine straight afterwards and we went straight home. She was sick at the time but that is more because she has a very sensitive gag reflex!

My email isn't working and I wondered why you were all so quiet... came on to check and that was 5 pages ago :D
Re chakras etc, I'm of a spooky persuasion and staff/mod on a spiritual site - but chakras have always eluded me. As have higher selves and inner selves and probably outer selves too. I think one of myself is enough. Too much new age gobbledegook drives me mad.
