((((((((((((stilty))))))))) so very sorry to hear the latest news about your MIL. Not many words I can say to help but I am thinking of you all, sending you strength and love and a shoulder should you need one.

((kidcat)) - I hope you are ok? What a shock but thank goodness your old dog was a superdog. If you need to talk about it, please do. Only ever burgled once, the morning I moved into DH's old place. He had been living at mine and renting his flat until my flat sold. Nothing of value was taken as the place was empty at that point, just a VHS that chewed up tapes but it worried me so much at the time so I can guess how you might feel. Sorry I might have missed a post but have you reported it?

What a pain ginny, so frustrating for you both. Big sigh....

Don't keep us in suspense for too long softstuff, sending calming thoughts in the mean time!

glad pup is home nutty - you are a softie for not eating! Hope he heals quickly.

thanks for all the wonderful supportive messages lately. I can't begin to tell you all how much they mean to me. There have been many times that coming on here has helped me get through the day. I am so lucky.
Well it took me many years to find the right life partner (and there were several frogs... and warty toads :D) I do have friends who care about me but not had a best friend since primary school and would dearly love one (or more) friends I could really be myself with and have an equal relationship. LIke you kidcat I helped so many friends in the past (not current ones) and didn't get the same support back when I needed it. I am wiser now and far less prepared to put up with bullpoo! I have closed a lot of doors on all sorts of things and when the time is right some new doors will open. I think I am in limbo and that might be ok if I can get my head around it, acceptance is the way forward for me but easier said than done sometimes.

right need to sleep... night night to anyone still up

you would make a wonderful friend nursemaggie, yes it is a shame we live far apart. No-one seems to live in my part of the world on here although I would be terrified meeting anyone in real life which sounds so daft as you are the most caring, warm and funny bunch.

Thinking of you all, Helen. so sorry the news wasn't good xx

Sq (((HUGS))) Best not to try to struggle on a lower dose of ADs than you really need, it makes life so much more difficult and you can always reduce it when you're feeling better xx

kidcat So glad your dear old friend saved you from having anything stolen xx

softstuff this all sounds very exciting! I hope it all works out, whatever it is :)

So dark here this morning! DS had a contact lens check booked for 8.35 but he really had to struggle to wake up. I'm sure he won't have got there in time!

Dgs had Mummy and Daddy up from 2.30 am yesterday and they both had to work all day  Dd was nearly in tears at work when I spoke to her so we pootled over at 3.15 picked up little man and brought him here for the night. Therefore I have been up since 7, pots all washed and put away, washing piled neatly to go upstairs and floor vaccumed ( after I rescued Postman Pats black and white cat from the hoover tube!) Just wandered into the kitchen for a brew and decided to make pastry while the kettle boiled so chicken leftovers pie for tea - just hve to mix everything for the filling :j He slept all night so will be much better at school today - really dont know how he does it - he was awake for 19 hours!

Question for my o/s friends - I cannot make bread, tried breadmaker, by hand, no knead et al! So what can I make with 2 bags of breadflour thats not bread?

    you're a good un ginny!

Car passed his MOT (ours is a boy car) , just needed a bulb which they didn't even charge me for. So relieved. Funny as I was waiting for it to be done, I somehow knew it would pass. There is an advisory which can wait for the service in a few months, an extra £100 or so but at least I know its coming and ensure we have the money.
Went to bed too late waiting for cats to powder their noses and woke up too early so yawning now. I know I won't get much done feeling like this so off for a nap and fingers crossed school don't phone.
