    Evening all

Have been reading but brain isn't processing well tonight so a generic hug to all.

I'd love a bit of snow!!

Went out with DD1 last night for a bit of "mum and daughter" time - we left at just gone 7pm and had to de-ice the car! It was lovely - she loves this time of year as much as me.

We all slept in this morning which is unheard of for me and DH, the cats were all snuggled on beds as it was so cold and hadn't woken us for breakfast. I feel quite exhausted now but much better for it this morning.

I've finished all my "stuff to be posted out" work today and just (just!!!!?) have another 6 cuts to do for local people before I can start on a couple of Christmas gifts. Then I'm having 2 weeks off (well, got to get the accounts up to date and get a web site built but hey!).

All Christmas gifts that needed to be purchased have been done so - they're all wrapped and I even wrote the cards today - they'll be posted out tomorrow. Got the turkey (2 crowns), the beef and the gammon in the freezer along with a couple of packs of locally produced sausage meat. Need to have a think about puddings and order some bacon and sausages but aside from that I think I'm just about done. We have in-laws coming on Christmas eve for drinks, a buffet and games night. Then my parents are coming for Christmas day. Boxing day has been declared a jimjams day ( we don't do the sales) and I'm really looking forward to all of it.

Hugs Jem! Sorry to hear you're having such a rough time. And SavingQueen, sorry to hear it's tough for you too.

Feeling a bit like I'm going through the motions with Christmas, not sure if I should have just called it off this year, since I seem to be ticking things off a list that they're done rather than enjoying any of it, if you see what I mean. Will be happier when I'm 100% I dare say.

Saw some snow yesterday at a friends house, about 20 miles north of here!

Mrs LW - I visited Montpelier last year, we were staying at a friends house in Marseillan and went for a night, it's a lovely city.

Work today, 2 weeks left till we break up, such a busy time of year.

For now I'm just sending everyone (((HUGS))), will probably be back later but I have to go to the hospital to have pre-op blood tests done and will probably be waiting for 1 1/2-2 hours so that's the morning written off really.

I thought of taking my Christmas cards to write while I'm waiting, but it wouldn't really work as I'll be sitting with my coat on my lap and would probably end up dropping everything on the floor. I soooo don't want to go, so much hassle and hanging around for such a quick procedure. I do feel sorry for the staff though, they work at full tilt and usually just get moaned at by patients because they've had such a long wait.

    Laters x

ETA Oops, forgot to say Good Luck for tomorrow Sheila, will be thinking of you x

Perhaps you should go back to the dentist Mar.

I guess everyone is busy with Christmas Preps.
