Lovely stockings Monna (sounds rather rude!).
Hope the new machine helps you nursemaggie.
Had some good news today, DH's contract has been extended for another 4 months which takes us to the end of June before we panic. And just had a 2nd viewing on the house so fingers crossed.

Yay to CPAP machines - I know how amazing they are as DH has one. Hope it works for you.

Monna - those stockings are seriously cute!!

Mrs LW - Glad your new SC is proving to be a worthwhile investment ;)

Welcome back Softstuff - hope your op goes ok.

Haven't stopped all day, made a yummy soup for lunch though - lots of left over bits from other meals all bunged into one - it had 13 different veg in!

Now going to collapse on the sofa and sew buttons on felt christmas trees.....like you do.

ETA - Possession - great news on the contract and the viewing! Fingers crossed.

Hi all, quick query if that's ok. I shopped for the first time at Approved Foods on Saturday and as of this evening my account shows the order is still being picked. Does that sound about right? Does anyone know how long it normally takes for delivery?

I had an email saying it would be delivered today so DS1 stayed home but nothing. The delivery company has now emailed me saying they are still waiting on the order to come from AF. Just wondering if this sounds right?

    Thanks for your help :)

Absolutely fantastic news possession. You know the best kind of people have to kind of look at silver linings for a little while, before everything falls into place, don't you? ;)

Monnagran I can't believe I asked if they were felt  :o Really gorgeous knitted bundles of colourful loveliness. So pleased to see you're crafting :)

So many of us crafting at the moment. Pooky, you do need a rest (only jealous because I can't join you any more) your enthusiasm for creating and being busy is infectious.

Well I sit here knitting my scarf and already made 5 stitches of purl when it was a knit row but, although it doesn't look right in a stocking stitch piece, I have discovered that 1 in every 5 or so knit rows that is done in purl will be quite a good effect :rotfl:

*chink. Brew is up, good auld DH. He can boggar off downstairs now and leave me in peace. I am going to try find a radio programme I can get into. I have really fallen out with TV

Well when I came on earlier only half the posts were here.

I actually needed a new CPAP machine because we had moved it has only taken me 7 months to get it and it had to be back 4 months ago. If I move from here I will be in the same position only have 3 months to get it back. Took 3 visits to the GP to get the referral, then he sent me to the wrong clinic, then they could not get the information off my machine so I have just been waiting. I rather think the last one I had was at least 10 years out of date and the one before 20 years out of date.

3 cheers for a modern one. She told me the mask I was only told was new year before last was made by a company who no longer exists.

Pity I was a bit late for monna but I am sure I am not the only one who would like the patterns.

Welcome MrsPWhite I hope you get some time off at Christmas.

Now Ginny HOW did you get out of a wool shop with only one ball. PSSO accidentally orders hers and I can't even come out of P**ndland without a bag full?

    I've been Money Tipped!
Thanks for the lovely welcome everyone :) I'm sire with a bit of help I'll find a way of making it all work at Christmas, work wise and family wise. It all makes me more determined not to still be doing this job this time next year, 15 years is enough!

My past 2 orders took seven days from placing the order to delivery, but I believe they use different couriers so there could be variations in delivery times.
