Yes thanks Ivyleaf I have a brand new all singing all dancing CPAP machine that I hope will eliminate some symptoms that I have been blaming on the cancer. Maybe I am going to feel really well and not just 60%.

I had a lovely driver this morning. She came at 7.30am and got me their an hour late. She had a lot of people to take to a rehabilitation centre. I was bursting when I got there had 4 cups of coffee while waiting to go.

I hope the cake comes out OK I have not baked it since I retired. It is not a heavy cake like a Christmas cake but being fatless as well it is really useful for diabetics.

It certainly was cold this morning fuddle. I think Navy is better for work it goes with everything and it will not look grubby after a couple of days. The problem with the yellow is online the colours so often do not look like they really are. It could be more green than yellow. You've been on the knitters thread some colours do not look like people have described them. I have not bought anything online yet.

There. I said I'd get better. That's it folks, I won't waste your time any more. Thanks for letting me practise.

I'll go away now and do something sensible.

    monna - they're really lovely :)

mrsdwhite Welcome to the thread :) So sorry to hear about the Christmas Day thing though. I do hope you'll have a chance to spend some time with the family

Airthrey - Welcome to you too, I knew we had another new poster but brain refused to remember your name. and even now I'm not sure I've got it right :o Oh well, I mean well.

Softstuff i know I've already welcomed you back to another thread. Welcome back to this one as well. I hope you don't need to spend too long in hosptial and wish you the speediest possible recovery x
  • Love those stockings MONNA you are a clever and talented lady!

SHEILA hope your cold departs PDQ, I currently feel like I've been run over by a tank and my nose resembles niagara falls, nuff said eh?

Very well pleased with the new slow cooker, it did lovely fluffy dumplings in 20 minutes on top of the stew and the chunks of veg are perfectly cooked which is so different to the old one. Think I'm going to try sweet and sour pork tomorrow as I've got some YS pork steaks in the freezer. I feel it's going to get lots of use this winter and save me lots of pennies in electricity. Can only be good!

NURSEMAGGIE glad you've got a new CPAP machine, hope it makes an enormous difference to how well you feel, you've been through enough of late and it's about time something good happened for you isn't it love? Lyn xxx.
