possession - its worth contacting a few local door fitters, as they may have one in left over from a job somewhere else, or even have one they have taken out of a property :)

Thanks Mrs C - am so wimpy over these things :)

I don't have the faintest clue what I'm doing about doors! Ho hum.
Edit: Actually just had a proper look and the door might be OK, it's the frame that's shattered, and the metal bit I don't know the name of that sits on the frame for the lock to go into. It looks like the door can be pushed to at least, so we could just blockade it while we're in there!
  • Anyone who likes quorn products might like to check out the freezer in their local Co Op as mine are offering 2 x packs for £3.00p on Quorn Mince and Quorn Chicken pieces which is quite a good deal. I picked up a couple of packs as I got a Quorn Recipe Book yesterday in a CS which has some really useable recipes in it, Lyn xxx.

Does anyone do couponing as a way of shaving off the £'s?

It's a bit of a buzz to be honest. Used that £5 off voucher for book Easter gifts for the kiddies in my family up north and received another one so I can use it on my girls' gifts. I've got a voucher for a free waitr*se beauty product as I'm a member (for free coffee when I walk into town to get milk or top up of fruit/veg etc) so that is my face cream sorted.

I'm just wondering if it's worthwhile doing, how do I go about accumulating coupons really. If nothing else it can be a bit of a hobby!

Heavy weekend work wise so I'll be quiet but looking forward to our trip next weekend to visit Bath. Best thing about being in the South is you're never really very far from anything. Always wanted to experience Bath so very excited plus I'm using it as a tool to help a lady I have with dementia. She was from there so hoping to spark some discussions from her early life.

Possession I just read you dropped off bacon butties for your DD's rescuers - I think that was fab :D I think you have most probably made those lads' day :)

Morning all, how are we all? Had a nice morning so far, doing nothing! Then I decided to load up the washing machine and give the hoover a quick run around.
Yesterday I finally decided to visit the doctor, have a small lump appear and it quite painful. Well I have been given an appointment to the hospital in 2 weeks time for a mammogram and an ultrasound. They think its more likely a cyst, but just need to be sure. OH has taken the day off to go with me, DD offered too, so I am really lucky.
I had my haircut this morning, only cost £6.50 so not bad really.
tomorrow I need to source a new carpet for DD room, no idea where to start looking just need a cheapy one.

    Take care all x

    Hi all,

Haven’t been posting recently. We seem to be having more & more bad luck. I didn’t want to come on the thread and bring the atmosphere down.

Monday, OH had his test for work, And because he’s dyslexic he had special circumstances and was allowed to use the earphones. Half way through the test, The earphones stopped working. When he reported it, He was told there was nothing they could do and he would have to carry on the exam reading the questions. Outcome was he failed.

Then, He was given some shocking news about our fertility. Seems, That’s going to be a long winding road. Has anyone here had to have “assistance” to get pregnant? I would love to hear from you because right now, We are extremely down.

Then Thursday OH had the re-test for the work exam and past. Luckily the earphones was replaced.

We have a family party on Saturday, And I’m not looking forward to it at all. We know its going to be many people all approaching OH about his brother. I can tell from my dip in depression that my anger is reach a new high. I’m worrying myself silly that I’m going to loose my temper! Which will resolve nothing. But I cant stand the idea that an entire night out for us, which doesn’t happen often will be tailored about that. (<OH brother)

    Fuddle.

I coupon a lot. How I started was contacting companies, ssm as nutty suggested, Facebook pages of companies usually have a few too. Are you on Facebook? Have a look at extreme coupon Uk.

Better carry on, Nothing is getting done, Me here moaning x
    Future goals:
    Become debt free.
    Beat Depression.
    Be happy & healthy

[Hugs] Princess sounds like your going through the wringer at the moment.
And 3 of my friends have had help to have their children, but it did'nt work for me & OH, basicly the younger you are the better your chances, but in saying that the biggest help seems to be if you can keep your stress level's down and both eat a healthy diet your chances increase.hth

Princess ((hugs)) I know many people who have had help to conceive, I also know of some who were told they would never be able to have children but now have healthy children. Follow all the advice offered and try to relax - relaxing is the biggest factor for many people :)

Possession - a good joiner should be able to repair the frame without replacing it :)
