I would slow roast them Mar, on a bed of chopped veg, carrots, onions etc. Nice and slow they will be tender and moist!

Mar I would roast them too :)

WC - I am sure a few jelly babies can be forgiven in the circumstances :)

Well we have successfully navigated another birthday and party, it was touch and go when we discovered OH had hidden the presents in the loft after DD8 was in bed (hatch is in her room) but we managed it somehow :)

Party went really well, the pamper lady was excellent and kept all the girls happy and entertained for the whole time, it was the first party I have ever done where I got to sit and have a cuppa with the few parents that stayed and enjoy the party itself :)

Can't remember if I posted Friday or not, but OH has broken some fingers in work so is somewhat useless at the moment, which is causing some issues - I have to cut his dinner etc, he cant cut the kids dinners, so its surprising just how much extra work its created.

Washing isnt done, so am panicking to get uniforms done and ready in time, and havent done ironing or shopping yet either. Am rather tired today though so am struggling to get myself moving.

Have got to get sorted today as its DS9 birthday Thursday so it all begins again then too :)

FPK - would love to see some pictures when kitty is more inclined to co-operate :) Hope things have settled overnight and you are seeing a calmer kitty today :)

This time next week I will be travelling to collect our little boy kitty, have got everything ready for him so we are ready to travel.
Little car is finally fixed and home, but the big car is still in with the mechanic, I have a hire car until Thursday and as the mechanic is going away this week, I am assured it will be well done by then.
Hope so as poor doggy really needs a trip to the vet, and I cant get him into the hire car whereas I can with my own, so am hoping it will be done today :)

I wouldn't cover them, maybe just a little bit of stock from a cube in the tray to stop the veggies catching and to make a nice gravy - bung in a couple of bay leave if you have them and season well.. Couple of hours at about 160c should be fine, but check them o see if they are browning to much, in which case I would juts lay a bit of foil over the top. Make sure the veg are nice and soft. You can turn down and leave in the oven until you are ready to have them. :)

Puss is doing much better today, enjoying a play (a bit of braided twine is the favourite toy), eating and sleeping and of course spending a lot of time on the bookshelf.

What a beautiful kittie. All we have now is Spare Cat, the stray who is a battle scarred old unchopped tom. He makes no mess, comes and goes and is delightfully boring, I havent got the energy for kittens or pups but one day will invest in an old timer from the dogs home and give it a comfy retirement.

Mar, can't bear typed sobbing, am off to catch a Canada goose from the resevoirs and send him down with sweeties tied to his leg :T

My oh my this weather is amazing. We nipped to the countryside (unbelievably close to us) and a model railway exhibition for a couple of hours. Had a mooch them left hubby gazing happily at tiny trains with fellow crazy people. I sat outside at a picnic bench, making lists and generally doodling and was actually burning it was so hot :jIt was so good to come home relaxed, warm and hang washing out.

FPK, What a gorgeous kitty! Gentle pat from us here!

Well today has been unsuccessful. I woke up with loads of chores I wanted done as we are finally seeing some sun. OH managed the garden, I managed cleaning the kitchen. That’s it.

Meaning I have a load more to do over the week which is busy enough as it is.
OH has been in a stinking mood since yesterday evening. So, I’m spending as much time away from him as I can.
Doesn’t help that he has yet another week off this week because of cancelled jobs. Plus he has a test for work tomorrow which I know is stressing him out because of the whole dyslexia thing.

Family problems have raised their ugly heads again. It seems the Bain of our lives are our families.
Anyways off to do dinner now. Speak soon.
    Future goals:
    Become debt free.
    Beat Depression.
    Be happy & healthy

Hi all, wow what a beautiful day. Ive been so busy on my day off, stripped the beds and wash it all, plus another load. Weeded front and back garden, cut grass and took it all to the recycleing centre to make compost. Then we got some woodchips to add to the borders, it stops a lot of weeds and cats using it as a litter tray.

Now finally having a rest, we had tea and at 530 I had a relaxing shower n put my pj's on. I have 4 days at work and then I am taking nearly 2 weeks off. Will get DD bedroom painted and depending on funds we will get a carpet in the room. Completed OH passport form, just need to post it in the morning. That's over £70 for a renewal.

Well time to have a snoop on land of bay, take care all x
