It's a paid role for the RVS Pooky - 15 hours a week from home as Regional Organiser for Pembrokshire Country Cars - Driver recruitment, liaison with the Council, making sure the service runs smoothly in Pembs.
At least it's a bit of regular income!

Well done to DD for her uni offer - she must be very pleased!

So nice to have good news :T:T Mrs Chip and Miss Pooky.

Hi Fuddly one, glad you are doing well and sorting your shifts to suit you all better. Despite working hard you do sound contented, a much happier Fuddle. Now that you have a job that fits you seem to have all your ducks in a row.

Im now at war with the electricity suppliers. Our present agreement with Scottish power ends in a few weeks and they now want £94 a month - did a search and thats the cheapest in Britain. So we will suffer it for a couple of months and cut back even further on our usage then make them cut the payments. I am good with my economy 7 but could do better - they will not win !!

The Gp has decided my Bp is high and I need to half an hours excercise 5 times a day  as a locum I think he may have been a tad stressed as its 5 times a week. I would have to get a hamster wheel in the living room - hey I could make my own electricity :rotfl:Anyway had a talk with the nurse today as she relieved me of rather a lot of blood and she said the amount of excercise I got as a carer and looking after Dgs every weekend was more than enough 'it was probably stress related' But TPTB reckon high bp is not related to stress, I didnt mention it I just got the heck out of there before my bp went any flipping higher.

Went and got some bread, i was so exhausted that i got the bus and promptly collapsed on the chair. DS2 came home in a taxi.

    Good Morning :)

Yes ginny, things are falling into place and the balance is working well although last night I felt like I should be working, not crocheting but I couldnt keep up the demends and run my family/look after my wellbeing. Were all happy and beginning to put the roots down.

DH called up to the Leisure Centre last night. A family swim ticket is £8.10 so were going to go to teach the girls to swim as best we can. Probably begin that an evening next week.

Iron cutest - you inspired me to try astonish oven cleaner. Nah, didnt work but a combination of scraping while hot and a scrub with WUL on cooling has cleared a great deal. Quite happy at how it looks.

Does any one use frozen diced beef? My concern is the diced pieces look uniform so, and as its cheaper, I m worried that its reconstituted meat. Its £3 for 500g (two SC meals here) so wondering whether to buy that and not fresh diced beef. Any heads up would be appreciated.
