Hello
Disgraceful behaviour! Don't you know you are supposed to live like a saint to post on these boards! tut tut...
Do you know any hangover cures? I don't know any and suffer badly if I happen to drink one to many!!
As I may have mentioned to you, I have completely blown the budget this month (already)
But tonight I am being saintly as I am going on my 1st Mystery Shop - which is a restaurant!!! Free food for me and a friend.... What more could I ask for?!
(Only down side is that I need to register with HMRC to have self employed income... but will focus on the free evening out side:j !)
Have a good weekend

Firstly, you are MEAN
Secondly, I've edited your hello to a more friendly size...
Thirdly, the best hangover cure in the world is a half pint of tomoto juice and worcester sauce (NO VODKA) and one of those Vitamin C bomb things in water... Also, if you know you are going to be drunk (not like me last night) drink Milk Thistle the morning of the day... Also, try doing a shot of Whiskey/Rum/Vodka/Brandy as your FIRST drink... I find it helps with the stomach-ache the next day... I think you are basically making your body deal with 40% alocohol FIRST, then gradually diluting it over the night... Rather than the other way round... Only personal experience, and I'm sure a clever sort will tell me I'm talking out of me beeehind, but it works for me... And if you aren't TOO ratted, a resolve before you go to bed will help... Man, I drink too much...
Fourthly, I'm about to do something I should have done a LONNNNNGG time ago... tidy my flat...
Fifthly, Then I'm going shopping... my first PROPER DFW shop...
Sixthly, I haven't time for reading the other boards before I go, so any quick tips... it's an 'essentials' shop...
Seventhly, I am bored with this 'Seventhly' format thing
Eighthly, I am going to stop...
Ninethly, RIGHT NOW...Total Debt at LBM 30/05/2007: £28,720... I... Am... Calm...
Trying to repay my biggest debt first... the one to you lot!! :A
543... It seems I AM just a number... despite my protestations to the contrary!!
Resolutions: 1, no food from 'Convenience' places during the day. 2, No Phone bill over £35 limit... EVER. 3, Fess up to Dad (Achieved). 4, No More Digressing! 5, Put expenses in regularly. (Achieved). 6, From now, I only pay cash. (Achieved). 7, Claim back my bank charges!
Unnecessary Challenge Week 2: £2.11/£10.00... kinda
"Proud to be dealing with my debt!"... And going insane while I'm at it, clearly!0 -
Ok... So no response to my Sixthly then... BUT, being the kind hearted soul I am... A tip for any idiots out there who are as thick as I am...
I just had a 'Moment of clarity'...
I was wrestling with my duvet/cover as per usual, making a t!t of myself, when it suddenly dawned on me...
Take the cover, turn it inside out, get hold of the corners from the inside... using it as like a great big cream and biege mitt... grab the corners of the bottom of the duvet and shake the cover over it... it turns itself the right way as you do this and Hey Presto! (bloody hell... remember them!?!?)
Just changed my cover in, like, a tenth of the time it normally takes...
I know it's not money-saving, but it's time saving... and time is money... Apparently...
OK... y'all have about 10 mins for tips on not buying crap I don't need, then I'm off to brave the supermarket... Morrisons, I think...Total Debt at LBM 30/05/2007: £28,720... I... Am... Calm...

eleventhly - I don't even think that eleventhly is a wordSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I have not laughed so hard for ages!!!
You really are doing so well......its great to see how up beat you are now from when you first posted.....
A pint of water for every drink thats passed your lips( alcoholic!! of course ) usually does the trick....only thing is you have to be sober enough to remember to do it!!! I normally forget!!DS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090 -
