Anybody know anymore about these terms and conditions? Can they send me for life imprisonment or sue me for billions of £££'s
Can they find out (other than by the fact I won't be making any calls with them).
With regards to the contract being too high, last years was a contract to keep me with them (whatever they're called)...
Thank you for all your help on this everyone...0 -
With regards to one persons question "Why would o2 give away a £300 phone for only £119.28 of revenue?" - they did it last year for me (and I ended up paying more than £9 odd per month I can assure you - with extra's and by the fact they sold me a contract that was mislead me to beleive I would be paying much less)...
In addition, they probably purchase xda's etc at a tiny fraction of the price us consumers buy them. They make huge profits, on the whole, from these seemingly generous offers.
So "Why would o2 give away a £300 phone for only £119.28 of revenue?" They wouldn't!! In my case, and in alot of other people cases, who are probably richer than me, people are willing to stick to a rediculous and scandorlous contract because they feel that 02 have done them a generous deed, and that they just enjoy the material value of the phone. This trick will be working for the 1000's of customers O2 receive this year, and when/if people every see beyond, then they will change their scheme. If everyone starts selling the phone for example, they'll bail out quicker than their bubble can burst and try a new method/.change the tech to stop it happening/put pressure on people to change laws etc...
It is what I learn from capitalists - the rich ones at least - always win... (while we keep falling for them time and time again because they just change their strategy...)
Anyhow, this is a forum on XDA profiteering, not economics...0
