Personally, I can't see why any Company would think it's a good idea to to be on Faceache or Twatbook.

You write a complete load of drivel, (in 140 characters or less on twitter). Other people see it, and respond with an even bigger load of drivel.

You keep your phone by your side at all times, including while you're at work, and check it every 30 seconds in case there's a new bit of drivel you haven't seen before.

Some bright spark in your company's Marketing Department decides that they must "engage with their customers through social media", and they employ some twonk to monitor and post on the Company's Facebook and Twitter pages, completely failing to realise that the only members of the public who put stuff on there are !!!!ed-off customers.

Then the company which started all this in someone's back bedroom, is floated on the market for £240,000,000 and people go and buy the shares. Then they realise that the whole thing is a crock of !!!!, advertisers start pulling out, and you realise that you were right to be a grumpy old technophobe in the first place, delete your account, and have nothing further to do with it.

Bump. Another Aldi ex-customer:-

Shocking parking ticket @Aldi Romiley. 1st time out in 3 months for a wheelchair bound 90 yr old relative. As you would expect a fairly slow shop with the wheelchair, and after a 2hr shop spending lots of money we find a week later we have received a £70 parking ticket, despite displaying a blue badge. Not encouraging customers to return. What do you suggest we do Aldi?

Interesting. Aldi's Facebook page has a swap and save campaign on.

My suggestion is to swap supermarkets and save parking charges.

Their FB resident troll is back commenting on PE posts. . This time going by the name of "Toby Picton-Smyth". It's actually the same person (I think) who called "herself" "Kate Howie" a couple of weeks ago. For some strange reason they seem to have an obsession with pot bellies!

Hello again folks. Previously known as Ledson's Teeth before the great CC Cleaner disaster of a few weeks ago.
So my time as Ryan Bryan was short but sweet. Anyone following the recent battle between myself and the fat one may have seen I was done up like a kipper. All those P.E groupies wailing into their hankies because of a photo I used of a supposedly disabled person. I did hit them with the fact that P.E feed like pigs on the disabled but that disappeared along with all my other posts. I think Weber/Shandwick were equally disgraceful in their actions. Two pro P.E trolls post what a disgrace it was and I come home the following day to find I'm banned (Third time). As I asked three weeks ago if Aldi's contract with Parking Eye allowed the latter to take Aldi's customers to court and was told they would look into it, I'd like it if someone here could ask it for me today. The reason is that I won't be posting on the Aldi facebook page any more.
Dammit. Where's a six inch winking emoticon when you need it.

I believe Toby to be the fat one we all know and love. He morphed from Phil to Roy (Giddy Up) Benson to Fazeela and onwards. The speed with which three occasional pro-PE posters turned up to protest about my post was ridiculous.

Oh this is priceless. I haven't even set up a new facebook account yet and I notice that someone on there has been accused of being Ryan Bryan. I love it.

I wonder if "TOBY" gets s a special deal from Aldi for all the tin-foil he buys. Regarding his/her past names, as well as "Kate Howie" there was "Archer" followed briefly by "Fletcher" (geddit?)

It certainly seems that way. Toby is an almost constant observer. I was able to follow up on all comments during the football on wednesday and Toby was posting equally quickly. There's a double act going on at the moment. Onesie and Toby. Haas a ring to it. BTW. Onesie was trawling this site as she knew straight away that I was planning to rejoin FB. Jumped to a rather silly conclusion though. Hello Onesie. You'll know when I'm back......eventually.
