Best phone for £15 a month?

what is the best phone I can get for that money? Iphone 4? I can get £4 off vodafone deals if I go direct? Other companies and phones ideal open to all softwares. Can do cashback but rather not? Scam? What do you think is best?

Have a look at mobileshop.co.uk. If you avoid cashback offers you should be Ok. Have a look at the offers for the LG Optimus 4x HD. This is a high spec phone which has a good repuation but never caught on. it is on the way out, hence it is cheap. There is a very good deal on jt with 3 mobile but I have reservations about 3 customer service and would rather go with O2

What do you mean "what phone"? I take it u mean a contract with a phone and minutes / data / texts? If so what do you require of each? No point in getting a £15 a month contract that costs you £30 a month cos you keep going over your allowances.

In terms of an iPhone 4 the best car phone warehouse do an online deal for £20.50 a month which includes 100 mins texts and 500 mob data

Check uswitch, affordable mobiles and mobiles dot co dot UK for the best deals. Many of these advertised prices include cash back over the duration of the contract.

Or if u need more minutes try tesco mobile, they offer a number of £15 deals with mid range smart phones with 500 mins data and texts

I can get the 4 for £17 a month. Is it worth it though? As it is an older phone? Are the cashback deals legit? I need 100 mins Unlimited texts and 50omb

£17 for an iPhone 4 is a great deal. If the allowance is enough for your needs then go for it.

I've never had any problems with cash back deals. As long as you follow all the rules and send your bills in on the specified dates, you should be fine.

Also check out quidoco for additional cash back when you place your order.
  • Okay do you think the Iphone is old technology and just overpriced though? I mean I like them but they are 3 years old!

Maybe so but if you're only willing to pay £17 a month you can't have everything!

Have you considered a galaxy s3? If u keep your eye out you should be able to get a deal to suit your needs for that. Its a more current phone.

The Nexus 4 8GB SIM free bought outright direct from Google works out at £10/mth over the course of 24 months. Pair that with the £7/mth Virgin SIM (30 day rolling contract) that gives you 150 mins, u/l texts and 500mb data and Bob's your uncle. I would suggest that gives you a far better deal than the 24 month commitment £17/mth deal you are considering (the Nexus 4 is certainly a far better, more modern phone than the 3 year old iPhone 4). Far more flexibility too, 2 years is a long time to commit yourself for on an 'entertainment' product as circumstances can change drastically during such a period of time. Just a thought.

Even better value if you take out the Ovivo SIM. I had a iPhone 4S and now have the Nexus 4 which is an awesome phone. I now squint when I look at my friends postage stamp sized iPhone screens :rotfl:

The Freedom package gives you 150 mins, 200 texts and 500mb per month for £0. If you use Whatsapp the low text allowance shouldn't be a problem.

The only reason I didn't suggest Ovivo is the OP's desire for unlimited texts but I agree the Nexus 4 plus Ovivo is a killer deal.
