  • Hi Sam, tell your sister to contact her bank and ask them to claim the money back from the company on her behalf. There are regulations with debit card transactions and if a company hasn't provided the goods she has paid for, the bank can 'chargeback' the debit to the retailer. Hope this helps.
  • I would suggest that CASE HOUSE is the same size as the Empire State building, as when you do a web search on the full address you will be amazed at the amount of companies that are crowded into that building!
    A number of them sharing two phone numbers.

    So what to do about these people.

    I have contacted WATCHDOG and also intend to contact TRADING STANDARDS as I feel very strongly that these people should be exposed for the bad name they give to the industry, and the upset they cause families going on holiday and discovering that they will have to pay a second time for their tickets if they intend to go to the theme parks.

    PLEASE PLEASE take the time to contact WATCHDOG and TRADING STANDARDS if you've had the same bad experience as myself and family,because the more people who complain, the more chance of action being taken against them, and the better chance of getting your money back!!
    What sort of people would disappoint the kids by not delivering their Disney tickets?

  • I ordered tickets on 9 Aug 07 to travel on 2 Sep 07 costing £884 from www.themepark-tickets.com. 3 days to go and they still haven't arrived! Numerous phone calls to Theme Park Tickets and I was assured again and again that there was a delay with their supply and they would be received before we travelled. Over the last 2 days their phone has rung 'engaged' continuously so I resorted to ringback - they picked up the phone and when I said hello they hung up!

    2 phone calls to Sunstyle (Parent Company) followed and I was still being told they would be despatched and someone from theme park tickets would call me back to confirm/discuss - 'surprise surprise' they never did!

    I am now attempting to get a refund as they have still not delivered them (we depart in less than 12 hours and no more post before then). I am now another £900 out of pocket until I get a refund from Sunstyle (hopefully) as I had to buy tickets from another provider to ensure my children enjoy their holiday.

    I have also reported the incident to trading standards and to watchdog!

    Use them at your peril!

    I too have been done by them.

    Just received this e-mail from them 4 days before departure:

    "We have not received our scheduled delivery of tickets from the USA.

    Consequently we are concerned that we will be unable to fulfil your order.

    We will credit the amount you paid us back to your credit card.

    Alternatively you can purchase e-tickets from www.attractiontix.co.uk and
    print instantly.

    Please accept our sincere apologies for this.

    hi tripadvisor warns people not to use this company very bad reputation i am off to disney next sat i got mine from http://www.themeparkticketsdirect.com/tickets/web_finder.buy

    very professional best price and about a thousand people on tripadvisor recommended them got my tickets within 2 weeks and that was during postal strike.

  • I had the same problem with these jokers!!

    Ordered Disney and Universal tickets off them. After a long wait and many phone calls, got the Disney tickets but no Universal tickets! Was promised a refund about 3 weeks ago now, and now I get this Email last night (suprise suprise!!).
    I deeply regret to advise you that, after seeking professional advice, the
    business has ceased to trade with immediate effect.

    You should approach your credit card company for a refund assuming your
    payment was made by credit card.

    On behalf of the staff of Sunstyle I would like to thank those customers who
    have supported us over the years and apologies for the inconvenience caused
    as a result of the business ceasing to trade.

  • Maybe there needs to be a sticky advising of the above comany going bust. It could be missed once this thread gets lost amongst the other threads.
  • I also have been done by these scum bags. My sum is £1552 and I applied for two lots of 6 tickets in July but had to purchase more for my holiday on 10th August. Their staff must have known the situation. I even asked them if they had gone bust and they answered that if I paid for my tickets by credit card I would be covered but i had paid by debit card so was not protected. I will always pay by credit card in future.

    Hi am posting this for my sister.

    Ordered tickets beginning of June 07 was travelling with partner and 2 kids on the 03/08/07.
    Tickets never arrived made 20 plus calls.
    On the first calls promises of tickets being sent special delivery never happened.
    Calls after that tickets not in stock
    Then after that refund promised on 3 occasions never happened.
    Cost of tickets was £932 my sister eneded up going to going places and buying more tickets which arrived next day (how it should be)
    She has been and come back now contacted them on Sunday 19 Aug the guy said "I don't know what has happened will give you refund and call you later today" he did call saying refund had been processed like hell it had no money in her bank.
    Please under no circumstances use this company they are rip of merchants and you will only be left paying for tickets twice!
    My sister paid by debit card so little chance of claiming back unlike with credit card where you stand half a chance.
    I feel for any one affected by this company it's a lot of money to just lose!
    I am gonna continue to chase and contact as many organisations for help to stop them trading.

  • This company has ceased to trade and has gone into liquidation.

    Here is an email I received from the appointed administrators. It appears that themepark-tickets.com was a subsidiary of Sunstyle Vacations - a sole trader business. Essentially, customers of this business will not get any refund, see paragraphs 3,4 & 5.
    Dear Sir / Madam

    Turpin Barker Armstrong has been approached by Mr P Morahan, a director of Sunstyle Villas Condos & Hotels Ltd (the Company), to place the Company into Creditors Voluntary Liquidation.

    A meeting has been called for 24 September 2007 with the members (ie shareholders) of Sunstyle Villas Condos & Hotels Ltd (the Company) to formally place it into liquidation. Thereafter, a meeting of the creditors of Sunstyle Villas Condos & Hotels Ltd (the Company) has been called for 14:15 on 24 September 2007 at the Secombe Theatre, Cheam Road, Sutton, London, SM1 2ST where information regarding the company will be presented to creditors, who will then be invited to vote on resolutions regarding the appointment of a liquidator of the company, the establishment of a creditors' committee, the basis of the liquidator's remuneration and authority to conduct future correspondence with creditors by e-mail. I have attached a copy of the circular sent to creditors in this regard.

    The information we have at our disposal indicates that you were a customer of Mr P Morahan t/a Sunstyle Vacations (a sole trader business) and not Sunstyle Villas Condos & Hotels Ltd (the Company) itself. Mr Morahan has advised that sales made through www.sunstylefloridavillas.com; www.themepark-tickets.com and www.internetrentacar.co.uk were all conducted by Mr P Morahan t/a Sunstyle Vacations. We are not instructed in relation to the affairs of Mr P Morahan t/a Sunstyle Vacations.

    Both Mr P Morahan t/a Sunstyle Vacations and Sunstyle Villas Condos & Hotels Ltd (the Company) have ceased to trade due to financial difficulties. Mr Morahan has advised that Mr P Morahan t/a Sunstyle Vacations is not in a financial position to refund customers regarding advance payments received by them and refunds already due.

    Creditors who have paid by credit card should contact their credit card company for compensation resulting from the failure of Mr P Morahan t/a Sunstyle Vacations to provide goods paid for. Those customers who have paid by an alternative means should seek advice in connection with making a claim against Mr P Morahan t/a Sunstyle Vacations.

    If you believe that you were a customer of Sunstyle Villas Condos & Hotels Ltd (the Company) and not Mr P Morahan t/a Sunstyle Vacations, we should be grateful if you would assist us by completing and returning the attached proof of debt claim form.     I fortunately received a full refund (£1022) from my credit card company. I fear that anyone who has paid by some other method will have lost their money. If you have, I really feel for you.
