Sorry not been about will try and make it as concise as possible. We were down in Aberdeen for D's Dad's 70th party (with a sneaky 40th cake for D). I was still organising the surprise party for D up here. We got back from that and then two days later we had word that my Aunt in Inverness had passed away. We organised to go down to the funeral and come back on Friday night's boat so we'd get back on Saturday. D was totally surprised when he walked in (I was DJing so that was my excuse for going early). I was so sure that he'd twigged but thankfully not. A good night was had by all and now it's getting back to a semblance of normal again.

Not been able to get to the supermarket so it's emergency frozen sausages and sausage casserole. Load of clothes being done and hoping that it keeps dry.

Sending (((hugs))) and spoons to all that need them

    Hi All

Hope you are all well, I am back in this week for sure, & I need to get iron board set up in LR to tackle the ironing mountain. I tailed off near the end of the week. I was absolutely exhausted last night, so much so I had to have an hour after dinner then went to bed around 9 & slept until 6 this morning . Considering I usually have around 5 hours sleep a night that was a shock, think my body must have needed it & I was doing 4 weekly cookathon yesterday as well.

Thanks for this weeks list Dusty, I shall be following it faithfully after the paid stuff each day.

Medium sized mountain of sons uni washing done and on the line, hall decluttered of all his stuff, hoovered through and mopped floors, dinner bubbling away in the oven, one bathroom cleaned and sparkling, I'm holding off doing the other one as I m psyching myself up to bath the three muttleys - they hate the process but love the results, they parade around like hollywood starlets basking in the compliments from everyone

    Hi

Thanks for all the supportive comments :)

I'm doing okay so far today. The decluttering of the kids drawers took quite a while but now when I do the ironing at least I can put things away instead of on top of the drawers :o.

    Before School:
    [STRIKE]DW
    Reload DW
    Lunches
    PE Kits
    Make beds
    Open blinds and curtains
    Feed dog, give tablets[/STRIKE]

    After School:
Passport forms - just need to get some info from our passports and get a countersignature
    [STRIKE]Sort out book bags[/STRIKE]
Shopping list - mainly done, just adding to if I think of anything
    Wipe kitchen counters
    Prepare dinner
    [STRIKE]Declutter DS1's drawers
    Declutter DS2's drawers[/STRIKE]
    Tidy kitchen from dinner
    Wipe dining table
Read with kids - 1 down 1 to go!
    Homework

    After kids in bed:
    Ironing
    Clear fireplace
    Shopping

Off to give the kitchen a wipe over and then to prep dinner, will check in again later!

Thanks for the threads Natty and Dusty. I'm in again this week, in my usual haphazard and slapdash fashion.

Hope this week brings better news and things improve Jazee. Thinking of you. (((Hugs)))

Claire welcome back, baby steps and celebrate what you achieve
