Welcome back ClaireT13! It sounds as though you are a bit overwhelmed by it all and just looking at your list - DW x 2 - before the school run, I can understand why. Supportive vibes heading your way.

Now that R has returned to whence he came, and I have my office back I've got a bit of catching up to do. And I should, really should, dust the whole house because it didn't get so much as a flick last week, although I swept the kitchen floor at some point (when the crud was sticking to my feet). Nice mop, btw Dusty. I'm considering the faff of buying it as it seems cheaper than constantly buying substandard ones and chucking them out a few months later because they're useless.
    Better is good enough.

    Hi all

I've done a bit downstairs including mopping so i've come upstairs for a while but I wish I'd made some lunch first! My tum is on the rumble.

I also renewed TCs this morning, lady was lovely, and commented on how easy I was to deal with as I seemed to understand them. She advised me not to give an average childcare cost throughout the year - I said I didn't mind paying more now and getting a surplus later rather than calling 3 times through the year (summer club, starting school, nursery grant etc) but she said it was better for me as apparently you get a 4 week run-on of the higher amount! So I said "OK" ;)

Anyway, tis sorted, and it gives me more time to firm up my decisions about who is going where and when, plus I might have a better idea of when DS swimming lessons are for next term.

Am at paid stuff but downloading some information so just waiting for that to finish.

Will clean sofas later on and I need to do a bit of ironing - my trousers for work for a start!!!

Welcome to new and returning flyladies! Set that kitchen timer and fly like the wind! You'll be amazed what can be done in 20-30min!

In my HHC I S&S the downstairs toilet & basin, wiped down the sofa & chairs, dusted & polished in LR & put the old cushions back in the covers (I bought new ones but they are a little too small :( so they are both in there now & I have very plump cushions :p)

I have just made myself a cuppa so I will sort out my hotspot (coffee table next to where I sit - mostly my mess :o) while I have that. I am tempted to get the wii fit out while it is quiet. I need to up my exercise levels!
