    Good morning

I didn't manage much last night, but did a bit, which was more than in the last two weeks at least. I also made a start on DS1's post-festival laundry and did homework with DS2. Today is another long day, because DS2 has a swimming lesson at 5pm. I'm hoping to sneak home before I collect him from school, though, so I can stick the jacket potatoes in the oven.

I'll need to keep things ticking over this week - DH has reminded me that we're out on the club trip this Saturday. I hope everyone's well, as I won't have time to read back. Time to make a couple of packed lunches and be off.

Monday ~ Living room, stairs and landing
    Hoover/wipe the sofas one done
    Dust the electricals/clean screens
    [STRIKE]Hoover the floor [/STRIKE]
    Wipe some paintwork, skirting boards
    apply cat's flea treatment
If it's not raining, QHC tidying in back yard/garden
Wash and prepare next lot of planters

Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Hoover/mop the floor
Clean the sink and shine the taps
Sort out and wipe out the fridge
Clean the WM filters and drawer
    Wash the window
    Wipe over the hob
    HHI
    QHC back yard/garden

Morning all. Yesterday I did the dailies, dog walking and paid stuff, and from the list I did all applicable jobs from the list in LR, and wiped the skirting in hall & bathrooms. Oh and also washed a pet bed.

    Today:
    Gym
    Paid Stuff
    Vet visit for SickDog
    Dailies
    Dog walking

And if I get time, I'll look at the list/dust my bedroom.

Hope everyone has a good day.
Spend less now, work less later.

A pigeon has just flown into my nice clean patio windows, thinking it could fly straight through to the front window, it is not the 1st time this has happened either, made a hell of a bang!
    About to hoover downstairs.

    welcome to the new flyers
    Bonnie your website looks lovely
Skinty massive supporting hugs to you
Kaz if pigeons flying into the glass is a problem get a silhouette shape of a kestrel and stick that on one of the windows you will not get a bird anywhere near your conservatory if you do. years ago my girls got a free one from the animals of farthing wood magazine stuck it on the window and nothing came in our garden again till we moved it. we had a similar prob when we had a big mirror opposite the window birds would see garden in the mirror and think they could fly through to other side. i moved the mirror after a poor blackbird hit it too hard and didnt survive
didnt sleep well everytime i rolled over caught toe on duvet and woke up:mad: have put a dressing over it but its still tender spose it will take a couple of days.
DS2 got soaked at canoeing last night so extra bag of very wet washing to do today.

    Morning All

Posting from the paid stuff, finish at 3 today though. I really got stuck in last night, even though my new sofa is only a month old. I wiped it down with a damp cloth, couldn’t believe the amount of dust on the back of it already!!! Monday’s list was all complete by 8, even DD came in last night & said “Wow its very clean in here”. I have my half brother visiting tonight with his wee 5 week old baby girl so will work on listy before he comes. My cousin (first in the family baby boom) had a healthy 8lb 9oz baby boy on Sunday, she text me at 4 to say she was in labour, baby was born by 6:50!!! Max William, next baby due 24th July :D. I love babies :D

TMD Well done on completing the 3 peaks challenge
Mrs MP How is the toe this morning, just reading that gave me shivers!
Mroyof3 Good luck with the viewing.
Skint - I really hope your DD sees sense & gives up, I gave up 8 years ago & can honestly say I would never put one in my mouth again

Wow! TMD ^^^ Mega achievement. Respect.

Well done and congratulations to GI's DS on the clarinet exam. (I bet he takes it up again in later life. Good call not trying to make him carry on now.)

Huge ((((((hugs))))) Skint. I imagine DD2's situation must be frightening, rage-making and leave you with a feeling of helplessness, which is a kind of open door to the BD. I hope she takes the warning seriously.

... just getting worked up into my annual rant about the weather forecast/rain/lack of drying weather .... Six beds to wash and get dry today, as well as two adults' bits and pieces, the air's as humid as a wet blanket and there's no, absolutely no, wind. Which is pretty unusual here.

I've also found out this morning, when I asked the cat-kidnapping neighbour how her father was (Alzheimer's), she told me he'd died in January. No-one told me and I feel truly, truly bad about that.
    Better is good enough.
