    Good Morning

Excellent nights sleep last night probably the result of a super hectic 12h stint at work then a HUGE curry,3 glasses of red and a lovely warm bath- bliss!

Got my lovely son back from uni on saturday, and the hallway is still piled up with all his stuff, so I think I'll sort that out before I tackle todays list.

No work until wednesday night, so I'm hoping to get a decent amount done in my hovel this week.

Have a good day people xx

Thanks Dusty and Natty. I want to go to bed but bees are head butting the window keeping me awake!

Hope you got some sleep. DH kept me awake cheering at the golf and going in and out of the kitchen noisy doors. Shame he didn't think to put the DW on or lock the back door on one of those trips.

Tired and grumpy here and stressy too.

Did wake up to a Whatap message from DS1 though :D so not all bad.

Off to do a charity/library book drop and get some food now.

Then to get downstairs presentable when I get back as friends coming later.

My hands type faster than my laptop can keep up with.. honestly if I posted without checking you'd all think I was a muppet.

Opticians done.. child deposited back at school..Moomin has teacher training on Friday.. they tell us today!!! I bet that's convenient for working parents!

I need to take Moomin to the new school at some point this week to sort the new uniform bits.. they aren't doing the fleeces any more so they are only £4 so I'll get them both one I think :D Problem is going to be finding time to take her.. they are both at choir today, she has art club tomorrow, Tiddles has church group Wednesday and art club Thursday.. so it may well be Friday before I can get there with her..

Food time I think before I starve to death .. Squeak is all snuggled up on the sofa looking like she might be going to sleep! Dot is terrorising OH... but I have no sympathy after his ex called him in the car.. unfortunately the words.. 'maybe her fianc! didn't like the fact she was spending so much time on the phone to other men' might have escaped my lips..

Note to self.. put brain in gear before operating the mouth!

I am expecting a knock on the door at some point today since the bloods done last week should be back and I am no doubt anaemic.. I refused to give the doctors/midwives/hospital my phone number so they turn up every so often have a cuppa and go away having achieved nothing.. They annoyed me last time constantly ringing to try bullying me.. needless to say it didn't work.

    Hi

I hope you will have me back. I haven't been on here for a while but I simply can't cope hoping no-one comes and just knocks on my door anymore :o

In the past I've always set my sights too high and felt like a failure but things need to change because the mess is causing arguments at home.

I'm going to try and get the kids (6 and 5) to take a bit more responsibility for their things which will help but DH is surgically attached to his IPad most of the time and I just resent running around while he is sat down. Still, the kids deserve a nice tidy house where their friends can come and play so a change has to happen.

The main problem I have is that the whole house is open plan and on view the whole time. Things don't have a set home and the whole place needs a complete declutter and when everyone knows where things live then there is no excuses for not putting them back. That's the theory anyway.

I work 9.15-2.30 during school term times so I've tried to break the day down into before school, after school and after the kids are in bed so I can have some organisation to my day. I'm going to have a list of all the things that have to get done in those times and then a couple of things that could be done if I have time left over.

    My list for today is:

    Before School:
    [STRIKE] DW
    Reload DW
    Lunches
    PE Kits
    Make beds
    Open blinds and curtains
    Feed dog, give tablets [/STRIKE]

    After School:
    Passport forms
    Sort out book bags
    Shopping list
    Wipe kitchen counters
    Prepare dinner
    Declutter DS1's drawers
    Declutter DS2's drawers
    Tidy kitchen from dinner
    Wipe dining table
    Read with kids
    Homework

    After kids in bed:
    Ironing
    Clear fireplace
    Shopping

Sorry for the huge post. I'll try to be more concise in future :)

Claire welcome back, baby steps and celebrate what you achieve

Books returned and got one out for DS2 from one of his preferred authors
Stuff dropped at charity shop (including orchid which has been cluttering the kitchen side)
Box of cuppa soups decluttered to the food bank
Small food shop done - Valli do you need a week3?

I've just had an early lunch so I'm going to make a cake and then get the hoover out.
