That's lovely Lisa, thanks for sharing. Used to have two Siamese. They are lovely cats. One of them was a blue and he used to sit on the top of the TV with his tail hanging over the front of the TV (when they were big box things). If you tried to move him he got really cross.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

Oh, aren't they, though. Such characters. The lilac point boy is a little hooligan, i.e. if he's particularly hungry and feeling impatient, he jumps off the floor and lands on my shoulder so he can yell his complaints in my ear, but the apricot point boy is such a gentle character - if he could, he would be continually curled up in the crook of my arm. And he doesn't have a Siamese voice - just a gentle whisper you can hardly hear.0 -

Just to add, Ozzie (the lilac boy) is a real little hunter, and when my daughter brought home a baby rabbit, as soon as he saw it, he started to stalk it. However, the rabbit was made of sterner stuff, and ran straight at Ozzie. Ozzie was so surprised, he turned tail and scarpered. And ever since then, when the rabbit is let out and he comes across the cats, he chases them and they belt down the garden to get out of his way. Very funny to watch.
(Don't look now, Ziggy, but you have a visitor...)0 -

The funniest thing about my blue boy was that he would eat out of any color dish except green. If you put a green one down he would always pee in it. He also used to go out of the catflap in the back door and come round the from an keep banging the letter box which was at the bottom of my door. It became a game to him I think. My seal point girl was much gentler though. They have such personalities, unless you have had one I don't think you quite understand.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

Greetings from Brighton. Having a lovely weekend. The weather has been great, picked up some great bargains in the sales and caught up with friends. Meeting some more friends for Sunday lunch today. The friend I'm staying with is still asleep in his bedroom but he's working tomorrow on a 12 hour shift so i'll leave him be and knock his door 1 hour before we're due to leave if he hasn't surfaced by then!!0

Oh, my first Siamese (my first cat, actually) was a seal point - the old style, rounded face. He was an amazing cat - we called him Tao after the cat in 'The Incredible Journey'. He was so clever. (But aren't they all?!) He lived to be 20 and in the last few years of his life, he got quite deaf so he would stand in the hall and yell at the top of his lungs if he didn't know where we were to come and find him please!0
