Desperate to go but no way was my brain going to allow me to go laying on my back ended up waiting till the coast was clear and me and the drip went for a walk to the loo.

Just a little reminder - as it is not mentioned in the 5:2 book and needs to be....

Pure grapefruit juice is known to interfere with the absorption of at least 40 different medications - such as heart and blood pressure medication. So be careful with which parts of the plan you follow if you are taking medication. The jury is out re tamoxifen - so best not to consume grapefruit juice or pieces at all I think if on medication. HTHS

    Otherwise fill your boots folks.

Last chance to fill your holes with naughty things. 3 hours to go before the 5:2 begins. Don't forget to weigh yourselves if you haven't already.

I think it's going to be a slice of brown toast for me tomorrow morning followed by a selection of peppermint tea, fennel tea and pomegranate tea until it's time to go home from work. Hope I don't crack! :o

    Good luck!

I'm at work tomorrow too but the guy who sits opposite me is doing it too so he'll have an inkling as to how I'll feel.

Get the first day over with and it'll be fine :)

Oh my days. I've just realised what I said. I meant pizza/chips/crisps/muffins/buns and such like, not anything rudey dudey. My bad. :o:o

Get the first day over with and it'll be fine.

Thanks cherub. As long as I manage the first fast day, I should be OK.
