Weel I thought I would tidy my stash up today as thought I was nearly out of shower gel & needed to check. By the time it was all sorted I had found 87 bottles of it. Also sorted the soft & gentle and have 48.
Fabric conditioner & washing liquid also tidied up. I have enough washing liquid for 2 years & also enough fabric conditioner for 5 years.
Does any of this go off?
    I think I have a problem.

If anyone has the sprite MOCs they are comparing at 2 for £1.50 at Morrisons.

    Good evening, all.

EMMAP - ty for the new thread.

Everyone else, I'm really sorry but I have been putting myself on nearly a complete internet ban.

I lsot my concentration at work the other day and caused some damage (no one was hurt it was inside a machine). My boss looked into my internet usage.

I have been given a Final Written warning.

I want to thank you all for your friendship but my contact on all things internet will be reserved for an hour or two a week at other times. I have had to prioritise my life and I'm afraid to say that several things I just have no room for.

I hope to catch up on evenings when I have nothing else on - they are few and far between.

Thank you all for the amazing times I've had on the thread.

    Chow for now,

    Dr V. x

Some great ideas here thanks. And such positivity and support from everyone too! But it is funny that I could eat any of that, feel full, and still be ravenous an hour later. Has happened every fast day I have ever done. More water doesn't really help much, as I already drink loads! You will go to bed with a rumbling tummy, but you do not wake up starving. On fast days I eat a small breakfast of yoghurt or fruit and coffee with milk, then try to have nothing apart from water and black tea/coffee until the evening meal. I have been known to have a little soup lunchtime if really wanted (low-cal cup-a-soup is great then) but I seldom do. It takes a couple of weeks to adjust to 5:2, but once you do you have more rather than less energy on your fast days. You will be more alert too. Promise! And fasting during the day does make the diet work better - it is not just about total calories consumed. By starving your body you are stressing it, and the body goes into a different mode and all kinds of enzymes and things switch on. That is how it can 'cure diabetes' and lower blood pressure too. Read the book or watch the programme! Talk to your doctor too. The reason I started 5:2 was, yes to lose weight, but also to help my body fight the cancer I have. Just wish I had known about it before my second chemo session last year too, as it is said by some studies to help the effectiveness to fast just before chemo. Anyway, the chemo worked, I'm in remission at the moment, have been for a year, and am taking Avastin to help prolong that. The fast diet or 5:2 (I actually try to 4:3) :is yet another arrow in my weaponry. And it really helps that it is only THAT day you have to diet, the next you can eat what you like. Bet you can't wait to start now! Good luck one and all.
I am not young enough to know everything.
