    Afternoon :)

Just back from Ts and for once I actually managed some decent whoopsies. Very pleased with my little haul. By far the best item I bagged was a giant whole crab reduced to £2. I don't like it myself but my OH does!. Oh my goodness, I got the same sort of reaction I'd have got from handing him a winning lottery ticket. He was over the moon :D:D He's a happy man today. A new fishing rod and a whole crab to eat :)
Going to keep my mouth shut tonight about the sort of things you give your OH, its not late enough for the night shift! ;)

TM :T thanks for nagging me till I did the imutual survey, cash is in my account ;)

Also for those that did the mighty deals petrol don't forget to register it as it did say something about the 30th of June, when you do and it wants the card number the boxes are virtually invisible so much so I changed browsers. But no still the same, they are just to the right of the sentence hiding ;)
So do I have to do something else? When the card was first delivered, I registered it online, is that it?? Cheers!
Yes, but it is a bit subtler and aiming is easier if you are male.... although I have heard about these devices that allow women to stand aim and fire too! TMI !! I think the fox can smell the MALE smell too.
I think it is something in the hormones in male urine. Sure I have read that females is different (well it would be wont it, no doubt it is superior {in their minds!} )

    Good evening, all.

EMMAP - ty for the new thread.

Everyone else, I'm really sorry but I have been putting myself on nearly a complete internet ban.

I lsot my concentration at work the other day and caused some damage (no one was hurt it was inside a machine). My boss looked into my internet usage.

I have been given a Final Written warning.

I want to thank you all for your friendship but my contact on all things internet will be reserved for an hour or two a week at other times. I have had to prioritise my life and I'm afraid to say that several things I just have no room for.

I hope to catch up on evenings when I have nothing else on - they are few and far between.

Thank you all for the amazing times I've had on the thread.

    Chow for now,

    Dr V. x

The discussion re the males urinating to deter the fox is amusing me.....

Men aren't the only gender that need to expel urine!

You might like this one too midwinter

I was listening to Gardeners question time today. They reckon that the nitrogen level in male urine is good for your lawns. It will green them up. And as some weeds are not nitrogen tolerant, it may kill off the weeds too.

    Very MSE I thought.

Plus it saves pulling the chain:T

    How Rude!!!

(Oh, and any males planning on giving their lawn a golden shower, please make sure to spread it about, as isnt it the high nitrogen in female dogs urine that kills the grass? Too much of a good thing and all that.)

Just back from Mr T. This is just to confirm offer is still working. You just have to search for the wine! I bought a finest meal deal :

    1 x pack of chicken in a lemon herb breadcrumbs 5.50T n/a A
    1 x Montepulciano D'Abruzzo* 7.99T 5.00A
2 x ultimate new york cheesecake slices (vanilla)* 5.20T 4.80A

Meal deal offer kicks in to bring price down to 10.00, and till gives a nice PP of 3.39 back against Asda. (if you buy more than 10 comparable items):)
thanks for this:) its not in the finest meal lists as you know. but if you go directly to the wine on line it shows it is in it. so ill get it in the next few days

Hello Vanilla Twist - just wanted to ask how your Mum getting on with her new clothes? I've not been on for 4 days as family visiting, and week before caught up - but not posted.

But I did read about your planned trip to Debenhams and I held my breath and hoped your shopper was as good as the one I had seen - so glad to see that she was happy with her session.:) It is a tonic. Thanks for the thanks :T glad my post helped someone.

Anyhow sending hugs .... " you are not alone", cue MJ song......:A:)

Naebbirac- agreed with QoC's answer:) and I could not say about me. I am a bit of a health freak so use it as a means to keep my weight the same and since starting this, go to the gym less, lol. But my friend started on 14 and a half stone and went down 4lbs per week for the first week and is losing 2 lbs every week since then, so she's really slimmed down. This 5;2, really worth a go. Hope you will join in too and yes do it along your other diet:)

TM- Thank you for your thank you. More than happy to help with whatever I know about 5;2 :) Supporting eberyone is the last I can do, you all are lovely:)
