Also try https://www.mouseprice.com for sold prices, taken from the Land Registry - you don't even have to register for this one. I'm househunting at the moment so sites like the Snake are just power to the elbow. Cheers Martin, IOU 1!!!0

You never increase the price of a property once its listed!!! hahaha! it either sells or you reduce the price.
Hence why I dont put alot of stock in this site personally. Nethouseprices etc alot more useful.0 -

If a seller doesn't get the price they want then they won't sell it. Plain and simple. The only advantage in the propertysnake website is that it allows a potential buyer who is not really interested in a particular property, to flood a whole group of properties at the same time with an offer to test to see which seller takes up their offer because the seller is desperate to sell. So in that respect its good but then if all buyers are doing it purely looking at the house as a commodity for money reasons and not because they are the remotest bit emotionally committed to that particular house then I anticipate there will be a lot more chains breaking down as a result. Propertysnake is not at all accurate either. We've been trying to sell for the past 9 mths and have dropped our price twice, yet we are not even listed on there! We have now decided to rent it out and have been inundated with people wanting to rent it.
The property market is now in a mess and gone are the days it seems when people were just looking to buy a home.0
