    And now I have the joy of having my foster granddaughter becoming my real granddaughter. Can't ask for anything better

    UPDATE,
    As of today 180919. my granddaughter is now my official granddaughter, adoption finally granted

    My biological father is the pits but my Dad is most definitely the best!!

    As my cousin said about herself when she was four - "I've got a Daddy who made me and a Daddy who loves me". Sums it up for me too.

    Got a great (albeit Victor Meldrew-esque) FIL too!

    My stepfather is a wonderful man. But my biological father has had nothing to do with me since I was about five. And OH's dad is a narcissist who has caused terrible damage to the family. But I suppose one out of three isn't bad.

    My dad is fab. He's my hero really.

    Always worked 70 hour weeks to provide for us, never complaining and now he's a great grandad. I try my best to be like him.
