My dad is amazing - I feel so very, very lucky :)

And DH is an wonderful father too - I always knew he would be great but it still makes me melt when he makes our little boy laugh like nothing else can :)

I am very fortunate to have a fantastic dad who I have always been able to love and respect. Thanks to him I can look back on an incredible childhood where I always felt happy and secure. He set wonderful examples to me in every area of life and helped me to grow into the confident, capable and worldly wise person I am today. At times in my life my dad has also been my rock and guided me through some very difficult times. I am looking forward to tomorrow and getting the chance to make a big fuss of him and showing him how much he means to me :)
The best day of your life is the one on which you decide your life is your own, no apologies or excuses. No one to lean on, rely on or blame. The gift is yours - it is an amazing journey - and you alone are responsible for the quality of it. This is the day your life really begins.
