About ten years ago, I remember one of my staff putting in a request for a new phone.
I later heard that she'd been so loud on the train that a fellow passenger had grabbed the phone, taken it to the vestibule area where the windows could open, and had thrown it out. To applause from many other passengers.0 -
The oddest situation I've been in is with a man who was having an argument with his girlfriend on the phone, shouting all sorts of derogatory names down the phone to her. The general gist of the argument, that I picked up, was because she wouldn't pick him up when he got to the station. He shouted "F you", and then threw his iPhone at the train floor and walked off without it.0

In Wolves, the Crown and Magistrates Court building is next door to the bus station.
It's a regular thing for half cut chavs to call people on their 'phones and loudly explain what they're doing out and what the judge said this time.:huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

On our local buses you must inhale the equivalent of about three cannabis spliffs in a 20 minute journey and get off the bus reeking of the stuff.0

Last week I heard a guy describe, in detail, how he'd been clean for two weeks but then someone had given him some cocaine and it had "released his inner beast". Wow. It was 10am and he was drinking beer and hadn't sobered up from the night befores exploits.0
