If I put up a picture of some plums any chance any one might help?

We definitely have a Victoria. Then there is a small blue thing, small, sweet little bit gage like, fine for an eating, then, DH today managed to clear his way to one we've never reached before....is it a plum? Or something else....its maroon toned more than blue, dark, dark, though, not like Victoria, the fruit seems exceptionally tight to the tree if that makes sense, its not ripe yet. Any of it. Made me wonder if its a damson or something? Its not a small fruit, smaller than Victoria, bigger than a gage. Oval rather than round.
  • Bah, feels like October here with cool wind and steady rain that soaks you in jiffy. Whacked on C/H to cheer myself up.

Everyone is unwell here so the heating is on and the biscuits have been cracked open. Just going to tend the sick and quietly craft while they are napping. Done a shop so that when the bug hits me (as I am sure it will) there is plenty to eat and all the other wee essentials to make it bearable.

I don't have a mouse, but will give it a go nevertheless.

LIR - I have a fruit tree that has gorgeous deep maroon fruits, but of what...I'm not sure - they are small & hard & quite bitter, but hanging with them.

Blowing a gale here and the rains stopped so will get some mega washing out possibly.

Rummer take care - you're organised though for the leurgy getting you.

I have a booklet somewhere from the '30s with a wonderful art deco style ilustration & the title is 'What To Do If It's Catching' - You could have written that!

Hmm. Fir and I are disagreeing about a chook. I say it needs 'pts', DH is feeling sentimental. Grrr. Chicken agrees with him, so can die in her own time, but I hate solitary confinement for them. Seems so much meaner. :(

Depends who usually does the deed, I guess. Here, it's only me, so I get to play God. :(

The digger has broken and there is no hope of repair, so the caravan pad isn't going any further this weekend.

We have tipped big piles of soil in places where there are dips in the ground, which the digger was going to flatten out, ready for re-seeding....only it won't be doing that now either. Grrrr! Looks like a giant mole has invaded us.....:wall:

Sorry to hear that the lurgy has struck the Rummers.

Nothing serious just a wee bug that seems to be going about. I have used the time that they have been sleeping to get a whole heap of lovely things done ;)
