The weatherboard colour choices are here http://www.marleyeternit.co.uk/Facades/Weatherboard/Cedral-Weatherboard-Colour-Selector.aspx
I think at the moment, we are leaning towards the Green Grey or Blue Grey cladding with Grey (probably a light to mid-grey) on the windows or the sand yellow with white windows. Most of the fronnt of the house (the bits that just out: front L bit of the bungalow, the porch and the dormer are clad in the weatherboard. The flat bit of the house will be rendered (probably just in cream?) and the soffits and other rainwater type paraphenalia are white uPVC. It's hard to marry all these choice together. We have definately ruled out red. there will be no Ty Coch around these parts.
Sadly for some reason the colours won't load on my iPad.
Yellow is cheerful, (we've used yellow on the back of the house because it was here and lifts in winter, and because the green won't do on a period house really) but white can fade to nicotine or alternative look a little 'less expensive' quickly.
I'd urge reconsidering those darker beigey neutrals.....a warm grey rather than a cold one, works with either the greedy or the yellow ( our wood work on the house is a pale putty called shaded white and I'd go much darker at the back if allowed)
IMO emerita a are much better with neutrals than us...warmer, darker colours that they are better at working so much better than our timid whites off whites and tentative hints of greens.
Your yellow and green choice both sound gorgeous to me though, and I love the sound of green and grey...so long as they are the right ones....not to army camouflage!
Not biased by both being my choices here though :rotfl::j0 -

Hmm had a message from the egg seller this morning noting that I'd left neutral feedback, which obviously isn't pleasing him. He reiterated that the eggs came from the same hens that laid the dark eggs he'd photographed and that they get lighter as the season progresses. He also asked about fertility, which I'd reported was good, so he'd obviously not read properly, just looked at the score.
I'm replying along the lines of: "Sorry matey, but if you advertise "Very dark Marans eggs" with a picture of same, and then you deliver something else, what on earth do you expect?"
Fair or unfair?0 -

He has very good feedback ATM, which is why I used him. 'Course he does other breeds and geese etc too. I think he's OK.
I'm sorry I can't help with your colour choosing, but I'm a bloke who's not much good at that sort of thing. Any choosing in our house is done by DW and I just get to nod.0 -

We jhave a choice of RAL colours on the grey. Some of the greys (this is the window and door colours here) look a taad too silvery, some too dark against the lighter blue-grey waetherboard. Crumbs! It's so complicated. We have to make a decision this week. EEEK! I think I am diverting from the pain of the roof issues!
I cannot see you choices which makes it hard.. Is there any other way to link them I wonder...
I have no knowledge at all, just know what I like
Are you looking at the colours outside, or inside? Remember they will look Paler outside generally in daylight..
It's not complicated, Choose what YOU both like. Think about winter when it will be cold and grim and you want something warm, but not necessarily something overly bright too..
You'll do just fine, I'm sure.. It's the fun part. ( I agonised over the right 'off white' for my windows, I could not believe the angst.

What grey were you thinking or LIR? I think we are more or less set on the Grey Green for the weatherboard, so it's now a decision about what grey to go with for the window frames https://dub121.mail.live.com/default.aspx?id=64855#!/mail/ViewOfficePreview.aspx?messageid=912b1693-ed3c-11e2-91bc-002264c197e8&folderid=00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000001&attindex=1&cp=-1&attdepth=1&n=9307624750

Number 1 sin for sellers is to misdescribe. If I do it, because everyone makes mistakes from time to time, I will offer a refund in full + postage if buyer wants to return or a partial refund (acceptable to buyer) if buyer wants to keep. In this case the seller has sent eggs not conforming to photo, but has not offered redress. Not too much sympathy for seller, a neg would have been harsh but a neutral prob fair.
Paint colours, I'm more with the Henry Ford/Wickes philosophy, any colour you want inside as long as its trade magnolia, outside white0
