Weren't Farrow & Ball an unfunny comedy duo from the late 20th century....?:D

Alfie, you must drop down a gear now.:naughty: Like Rummer says, pamper yourself a bit....or even a lot! :A

The men couldn't quite find the drain, though their metal detector and probe thing proved that it extends a long way in the right direction. They dug a hole, broke their sledgehammer, drank some tea, ate a few more biscuits and bid farewell. They'll have to return, if only because the road is a bit of a mess now. ;)

Meanwhile, at the back, I now know that my neighbour who had the hedge bottoms levelled was prepping for one of the local master fencers to put in a sheep fence. Having watched the fencer for a few days, I've noticed he doesn't move half as fast as Pete, despite having a very swish post basher. I bet he doesn't charge Pete's rates either! :D

    yes and no:D

technically Scotties are black, and westies are white, westies are not that shape, and do not have floppy ears..BUT the old whiskey adverts etc made people think of 'white Scotties'

the plaster ornament you have is a Sealyham

    Good morning, good morning :D

Tis dry this morning with just a hint of sunshine and I have high hopes for today! After a busy day at the hospital yesterday I am going to go for a sensible walk to blow off the cobwebs and try to build up my energy levels.
