Weren't Farrow & Ball an unfunny comedy duo from the late 20th century....?:D
Alfie, you must drop down a gear now.Like Rummer says, pamper yourself a bit....or even a lot! :A
The men couldn't quite find the drain, though their metal detector and probe thing proved that it extends a long way in the right direction. They dug a hole, broke their sledgehammer, drank some tea, ate a few more biscuits and bid farewell. They'll have to return, if only because the road is a bit of a mess now.
Meanwhile, at the back, I now know that my neighbour who had the hedge bottoms levelled was prepping for one of the local master fencers to put in a sheep fence. Having watched the fencer for a few days, I've noticed he doesn't move half as fast as Pete, despite having a very swish post basher. I bet he doesn't charge Pete's rates either!0 -

Hope you soon shake it off, alfie.

Good morning, good morning
Tis dry this morning with just a hint of sunshine and I have high hopes for today! After a busy day at the hospital yesterday I am going to go for a sensible walk to blow off the cobwebs and try to build up my energy levels.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0
