CTC, I can't wait to see your place too!

We're just talking about the geese. DS is beside himself. He loves the birds.

Dave, there are so many ways to skin a cat. I don't know any other way but to rush headlong into a project (and then run out of steam :-) )

What time are you expecting us? I suppose I should ask where you live LOL! Can I have a mobile number please in case we get lost.
  • How exciting for you three girls, a meet up! I hope the weather is reasonable and you have a great time :D

Applied for a few jobs, one exciting (and the preferred choice but may not work out with travels costs), two rather ordinary but local. Anything that puts money in my pocket after the Spanish losses has to be good though, right?

Rummer I can't advise on the lottie because I have no experience of dealing with under 6 months old babies, but that was a struggle most days anyway. I agree that perhaps now is not the right time to take it on in case you feel over-burdened with everything that you MUST do. Are there penalties if you don't have the plot cleared in a period of x weeks, for example?

    hi all.
i have just had a snotty message from the buyer of "THE BAG"... what a bluddy [like that word dave ;) ] carry on !!
she reckoned she knew a badly used from a hardly used and this bag [IHO] was bad .... it was BRAND new, made in a worn leather look , lining spotless etc.she had CUT the stitching in such an obscure place that no way would the stitching go there ??? 1cm long !! to back her claim... i was so wild i complained about her to ebay and her feedback record is appalling.[apparently selling at auction then demands more money !!]
but i agreed a refund through the resolution service. and she is still complaining ?? bytch ...

so needless to say my day has started well :o:D

There's a minority of people on Ebay who abuse the system and cause aggravation and upset, as well as financial loss. Looks like you've got one of them :(

Alf, almost nothing you can do unless you can catch her out in a lie. As I've a crocodile skin Martin handbag to sell maybe you could pm her username so she can go on my BBL. My recent Neg is being referred to seller protection, who may just cancel it but I'm not living in hope. It is a nightmare at times on the Bay when you get a dishonest buyer, it's just like them shoplifting at a distance!

But the vast majority of buyers are decent and honest, just wish Ebay would sort out the rogues.

    hi folks :D

hope the weather has been kind to all today ??

as an example of my mood here are some joyfull observations as my day progressed...;)

why do a vast majority of drivers never indicate at roundabouts?

why do people step off curbs and glare when you swerve/stop ?

why do people insist on "saying hello" to a dog in a vehicle through the open window ?

ditto to dogs tied up outside shops then complain its vicious when it barks at em ?

why do drivers not let someone out of a junction even tho they are in a slow que?

BUT when the reverse of above does happen and the "escapee" cant even aknowledge with a raised hand to which im afraid i show them i can do that with just 2 fingers ;):D

apart from that alls well on these ere forist roads :rotfl::rotfl:
