She is being sanctioned -she'll have to love and care for the child for the rest of its life.

She doesn't have to love it.

Nor does she have to care for it, as she will ask the state to do that: until the number of children the state will pay for, is limited. Or a 2 tier welfare system arrives, that Labour is already sowing the seeds of.

Looks like she is just digging herself a big financial hole, that she will never get out of. If she doesn't get the courage to get a job, then she will spend her days having to jump when the welfare state tells her to.
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

How rude, it is actually our business when she asks family members for hand outs and to do baby sitting, we do it for the kids, but none the less it's our problem as well.

I understand how you feel in regards to being disappointed, as i am sometimes ashamed that i'm portrayed as being selfish **** by my own brothers for not sharing what i go out and earn, or let them live with me so they have someone new to steal from to fund their 'need' for cannabis.

How often do you accept her demands/requests? If it is every time, perhaps it's time to say no sometimes and stop enabling her, especially to hand outs. If she can get by comfortably asking for them and receiving more often than not, what incentive has she got to do better for herself when others will do it for her?

I'm 25 now, no kids, however, out of my brothers born by my mother, none of them work or intend to work, all of them claim benefits, i'm the only one trying hard to not be in that sitaution, i'm (and i'm serious) actually shunned by them because of it - and where did they get this mentality from? My mother who hasn't worked a day in her life and still hasn't.

I'm not saying that this will happen, but it's likely, unless she is prompted or given inspiration to change her attitude, you may end up with a number of her kids who will have no drive to do anything, and a cycle of that to come, too.

And it's none of your business I'm sure you could do better things in your own life without poking your nose in others'.

IMO its everyone's in society's business when we pay for this "lifestyle" and that's what it is. She'll likely have given no thought to where the money comes from to support her lifestyle, just comes from "govment don't it". She'll have a nasty shock with Universal credit though once this new baby turns one.

Jeepers. Some one wants to explain to her that most jobs are a lot easier than looking after small children. I went back to work for a rest!

Sadly it's all too common, as has been said she will be required to seek work up until the later stage of pregnancy. If this is how she thinks she could do this for years to come, a woman in our street had a 10 and 12 year old when I loved her 1 years ago, she now has another three children, each around 4 years apart...

    When you loved her?

Did you love her in the way that makes babies?

Whoops, thanks MMP, that read really strange and will teach me to read through my posts.

Far from love her a couple of years ago she and her daughter broke into the neighbours house between us. A young girl lived there and they broke in looking for alcohol - sadly she was at home with her boyfriend at the time and they beat them both up very badly and wrecked her house. The girl, myself and the boyfriend were all witnesses in the court case, luckily they pled guilty minutes before the case was heard. It was a nightmare for me never mind the poor girl, needless to say she moved out and rented her house out.

Given the speed at which she conceived, he could start bottling the stuff! ;)
  • All different fathers I am afraid, probably one night stands.
