aww lovely, I am glad your babies are growing nicely.

Tabby's sister, Tiggy is scheduled to go and be spayed tomorrow morning, which is excellent considering she is now in season again!
Tabby will be going as soon as the litter has been weaned.

I will get hubby to speak to the vet tomorrow re.Tabby just not giving birth. They wanted £26 just to see her and talk about her.Whenever I have gone for advice previously at other vets it has been free!

I will continue to update you all about progress....as and when it happens!
  • Ahh well done getting tiggy done.how much are you paying?
I think I will take boo and the kits to the vet when they are 3 weeks old to get weighed and wormed I'm a bit worried about doing it myself and getting the dosage right.
They are a week old today!

We got a voucher from cats protection so the cost is 46, but we only have to pay 20 as the voucher counts as the rest.
  • Yea I got a voucher aswel!
That's good then quite cheap in your area it's about £60-£70 here :0(

Worming It is quite safe to use Panacur for pregnant or lactating girl cats. You can also use it on kittens from 2 weeks old. For the dose rate - you look at the box and the dosage is according to weight. An average size cat is around 4kg. Panacur comes in a paste or a liquid. The paste is more expensive but easier to give. The liquid is OK if you are confident in using a small syringe (without the needle of course) and dose directly to the back of the mouth. Most people I know use the paste. That comes in a calibrated syringe in the box. :)

    spartacusthe1st - new photo????

    kezzygirl - still no kittens????

    :D
  • I uploaded some photos to a website but don't know how to transfer to this one?
Also thanks for the worming advice, I don't have any digital scales and no one I know has Any either?so I will have to make a trio to get them weighed.
They have gotten really big and have quite firm big bellies I'm not sure if they are just gaining weight and have little pot bellies or its worms?
I will get some of that panacur for boo so hopefully it will transfer to the kitts aswell??

No kittens. I cannot quite believe it.

If it wasn't for the fact that I can see and feel the little monkeys moving I would think she is just fat!! Her sister,Tiggy, has just got back from the vets having been spayed so has a posh collar on lol

Tabby's immediate response as tiggy staggered out of the cat carrier was to growl at her lol so feelings haven't changed!

I am going to give Tabs until Thursday then I am going to take her to the vet,she must've been 9 weeks last thursday (at least)so she is now 68days pregnant. The babies are still moving, I can actually see them wriggling when she lays down.

I will keep you all updated!
  • Haha ahh kezzy!

Had to keep reminding myself I could see and feel the babies moving!

    Ohh hope they arrive soon!
Right will try that link then!
