Congratulations on your kittens.Your girl is lovely. Where did you get her from?0

Hi penny pincha...I got her and her sister tiggy from my friend whose cat had kittens, best choice I ever made getting two sisters as they played together, slept together and were really fun to have.
Tiggy has recovered well from her spay, her collar is off from her visit to the vet tuesday.
The kittens are doing well, growing already!big bellies which is a good sign.Tabby keeps padding on them though? As she lays and 4 of them for example will be latched on, there will be the fifth not latched on,just laying sleeping and she pads on it!(I hope you know what I mean by padding-kneading her paws so to speak)and it mewls, so I sometimes pick it up n put it near her, well last night she laid her head on it and it carried on mewling coz she had trapped it!is this normal?
she came out of the room yesterday and we've kept the door open today but will shut it when we go out.she refuses to use the litter tray in our bedroom so walks through to the kitchen and uses the one there.5-10minutes time out then she is back with the babies.
we've got her some kitten food today and will feed her solely on that for nutrients.
They are truly lovely!I will upload pics later. The vet said he will spay her when her milk stops,so a few weeks yet.dh opened the kitchen blind this morning to find father of the kittens on the front lawn!brazen!
upload pics later!0 -

Awww they r really cute! And that male is v brazen haha.
Boo often kind of lays on top of one so its trapped and mewling but eventually crawls out from under her!
It's amazing how fast they grow, you can literally see them get bigger every day!
We tried to move them to a different nest as its quite cramped down the side of the sofa as they are now moving about lots and often peek their heads out from round the side of the sofa, we used 2 big veg boxes the flat kind, from Tesco and connected them together put towels and blankets down, the kittens loved it lots of space to move but boo hated it coz its out in the open I expect, she kept picking them up and trying to move them back ggrrrr.
So we did move them back but left the big box so she can keep checking it out.

Sorry but they are little babies, should really be wormed by the vets - you do not want to overdose them.
Do you have PDSA or Celia Hammond anywhere near by?
Failing that, you need to know their exact weight before giving them anything.0 -

You need to use Panacur for the kittens, either paste or granules. Give the surgery a call or pop in to see one of the vet nurses for instructions and to weigh the kittens if you don't have any suitable scales at home. They'll need worming every 2 weeks at this stage.“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0
