Do we know for certain that the offer has been extended? I found this: http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?p=623491

SVP, Aria and Ebuyer still have the Google checkout offer showing. On SVP the Google page reached when you checkout still shows the £10 off.

It hasn't, it always was due to expire on the 11th.

Google Checkout arrives in the UK!
    Friday, April 13, 2007

Posted by Jerry Dischler, Senior Product Manager

We're excited to tell you that as of this morning, the speed, security and convenience of Google Checkout are available to online shops and shoppers in the United Kingdom.

In the United States, thousands of sellers and millions of buyers have already taken advantage of this exciting new checkout process. Now, shops in the UK can offer Google Checkout to their customers and benefit from increased sales, higher conversion rates, and lower transaction processing costs. From now until 2008, merchants that offer Checkout in the UK will receive free transaction processing for all of their Checkout sales. And just so buyers don't feel left out, we're giving them £10 off all orders over £30.

    To learn more visit http://checkout.google.co.uk.

So, does this mean the '£10 off' offer is available through-out the whole of 2007?

I discovered 'Google' Checkout and the '£10 off' offer here, where everyone was indicating the end date was the 11th June, so was confused as to why, for the last few days, the Mon. Sav. Exp. team was indicating the end date was yesterday (10th June).

I've placed two orders with "saverstore.com" and received (from Google) £10 off each time. I added the two following items, to get the order above the £30 value:

    External USB Floppy disk-drive; and

    6-socket Sureg-protected Mains Extension lead.

Incidentally, saverstore.com isn't, any longer, advertising the '£10 off' offer, so I don't know what's going on, as http://www.aria.co.uk/, http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/home/ and http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/ are still doing so.

I'm thinking of placing another order, for laptop speakers, but only if the '£10' offer is still available:

    http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/78290 or http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/104071.

I was under the impression it ended tonight 12pm, we'll see.
The thing about Aria and Savastore is that the £10 is eaten up by the hefty postage charges that do not include VAT and you end up saving less than £2 with I suppose post "free" delivery.

I managed to get quite a bit off my printer ink with ink factory.

The base price was £32.95 for 3 x HP 21 black ink cartridges.

I then got quidco cashback of 17.5% on the full price equating to £5.77

The google checkout reduces by another £10.

Brings the real price down to just over £17, meaning just under £6 per cartridge.

It wasn't the cheapest base price on the market, as Amazon sells them for just over £8 each, meaning I would buy 2 to qualify for the free postage but the quidco cashback, and google checkout cashback really made this a good deal. It takes me on average 4 months to use a cartridge, and I'll be needing to replace the current one in a few weeks, so that is about a years worth of printing taken care of.

Has anyone else used the contact ebuyer option from within Google Checkout to request an order cancellation? Did they cancel the order?
