I think you wil find Quiidco will be tracking £6.83.
, as mine is £5.90 on a £33+ order
Oops, you're right.
Maths never was my strong point.
And I used to work in a bank. :rotfl:Only when the last tree has died
and the last river has been poisoned
and the last fish has been caught
will we realise we cannot eat money0 -
Why did I order one of these from Ebuyer just because it was £71.08 including delivery after google checkout. http://www.lacie.com/uk/products/product.htm?pid=10833 It's ugly lol - I only had one beer. After checking the specs it seems the operating temperature range is quite poor and the shock resistance is too. Oh well - suppose it will cost me the postage to send it back to ebuyer if I really don't want it0

I doubt that Google foots all of the £10 - otherwise every retailer under the sun and beyond would be offering Google Checkout.
The £10 deal ends tomorrow anyway so it's only an introductory offer, and ebuyer will have to put their prices down a little again and introduce a lower limit for free delivery, rather than relying on google's offer. Google is doing this as a way of getting people to sign up to and use the service, nothing more, nothing less. Google will recoup this money easily assuming consumers continue to use it.0 -

I didn't say that. Please read my post properly.
It's up to companies to decide whether or not to go for a particular payment system. Your bog standard back bedroom 15 year old retailer will use paypal, even though it costs lots per payment received, it's easy and free to use. Others will use services like worldpay which you have to pay to use to accept credit card payments. Google checkout will operate just like worldpay. The retailer will pay for the benefit of using it (probably less than services like worldpay). Many retailers may not have considered paying extra to accept payments worth the bother for a £10 off £30 offer that ends soon.
The only benefit of google checkout for the consumer is no need to enter details repeatedly in websites. You lose the benefits of things like Ebuyer's system where you can cancel orders or change them before they're shipped. I probably won't use google checkout without money off.0 -
Forgot to order yesterday but discount has still been applied this morning on an order placed with memorybits.0
