They also do the 2Gb without the micro-to-mini adapter (which I've posted a couple of times on MSE) for £14.28 I think, which is also a good deal, although if you only need two, then getting one at £15.99 (with just one miniSD adapter) saves you a couple of quid and still gets you the tenner off.

My QuidCo didn't track with them, but it did with EmpireDirect.
The thanks button is here to the right. If you find a post saves you money, gives you useful information, or you agree with it, take a second to thank the poster! :)

They saw that coming and reduced your card to £13.98, so the two you recommended leaves an order 3p short of the £30 spend. ;)

This is normally considered the job of the credit card company nowadays.

Google Checkout is considered a third Party Intermediary by Credit Card company like mine LloydTsb Disputes who will NOt intervene on my behalf so therefore be warned especially if you get stung with large purchases.

The 160GB drives may not work in all laptops - check first

Between 4 of us, using 11 difFerent and totally valid cards,we tried ordering goods from eBuyer only to have all bar one credit card refused by Google. This was not due to multiple orders just them not liking the cards.... for some unexplained reasons

In only one of the occassions did they notify us that the order had been cancelled. Only when the goods didnt arrive did eBuyer tell us that the order had been cancelled by google. On one they actually took the money then cancelled the order with Ebuyer ( dont know yet if the cash has been refunded).

When I contacted Google they wanted a photo copy of my credit card statement. A photo copy of BOTH sides of my Credit Card!!!!! (Do they think Im stupid) and a copy of my driving licence emailed or faxed to them. Oh the fax number they gave wasnt a UK number and they didnt give an international dialing code prefix.

I also wanted to return the item within the 7 days (for mail order purchases) this can only be done via Google and yes you guessed it they didnt pass this request to eBuyer. So no refund

    ADVICE
If you order something check with the supplier after about 4 hours that your order is proceeding.

If you think you may have to return it and get a refund use the supplier direct.

YOU WILL USE MORE THAN THE £10 SAVING SORTING OUT ALL THE PROBLEMS IN YOUR TIME AND 0870 Calls (Yes I have saynoto0870.com but not all suppliers are listed)

Ebuyer staff seem to be totally p***** off with Google checkout (as I am!!!)and stated that all the different cards would have been accepted by them (as every other on-line supplier has!).
So, are we to assume that you were trying to abuse the system for some reason, if so, serves you right!!
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Just had a browse and was interested in 2 Maglite LED upgrade kits (£18.99 each) from Brighter Light - anyone know if they're worth the money. Are they a significant improvement on the standard?

I've just ordered a couple of these. I've got one for a AA version and produces a better quality of light, whiter and brighter. There are people who really wanted to answer if they're better at flashlightreviews.com
