Happily for the mortgage 30 min delays are quite common - luckily by the time the voucher arrives the delay is a distant memory so I'm just happy to have the extra pennies :)

  • It is nice how that fades! My recent refund of £2.40 still doesn't make up for walking 3 miles in the rain (still ) but at least it's gone to a good cause and saved me ~£1.32 in mortgage interest.

Super quick update from me, RL just keeps getting busier:

    1. Mortgage to sub-£39k - OP £1,505.47 - £44.61/£1,505.47
    2. eBay sales of £50 - £18.95/£50
    3. Grocery budget £115 - £47.39/£115
    4. Cashback payouts of £10 - £4.46/£10

Pay day next Friday. Likely to come in under on grocery spends as away again this weekend and freezer is still well stocked as we've barely been home to eat!

I also have another £4+ cashback en route to me, and several eB*y items being watched - lots ending this weekend so hopeful of a nice payout from that. Finally got around to doing a big listing session thanks to sleeplessness last weekend!

Happy weekend all - I'm hopeful of a very low spend one!

  • Have a nice weekend away! :)
  • Fab weekend but knackered now! Very MSE though :)

A few more eB*y sales plus another train delay refund means an OP of £21.26.

I need to do a spot of grocery shopping this eve but as we have another busy week we don't need much.

    1. Mortgage to sub-£39k - OP £1,505.47 - £65.87/£1,505.47
    2. eBay sales of £50 - £40.43/£50

I have a few more items ending this week so hopeful of hitting my selling target!

Another day, another eB*y sale! Profits from this one have gone into our shared house fund as it was a joint item with DH.

My cc payment was lower than expected by £13.89 thanks to cashback, and combined with my 123 a/c "profit" it has enabled me to make an OP of £19.80 today.

A few essentials purchased last night to see us through the week - £7.07 spent

    1. Mortgage to sub-£39k - OP £1,505.47 - £85.67/£1,505.47
    2. eBay sales of £50 - £58.43/£50 :)
    3. Grocery budget £115 - £54.46/£115
    4. Cashback payouts of £10 - £4.46/£10

£372.88 to go to get to sub-£40k!

  • Well done! :) All my cashback is still pending.
  • Pay day, woohoo! OP of £2,560 made to take me to a total of £20,000.42 for the year, so over budget :rotfl:

Probably should have held some back but I couldn't resist.

    1. Mortgage to sub-£39k - OP £1,505.47 - £2,662.57/£1,505.47 :)
    2. eBay sales of £50 - £68.42/£50 :) another with a bid of £10
    3. Grocery budget £115 - £54.46/£115
    4. Cashback payouts of £10 - £8.54/£10 and another £12 pending - will form part of my Jan OP :)

We jet off on hols for three weeks on Tues so will come in way under on the grocery budget.

I need to start setting some goals for 2016, don't I?
