Ah now that's where you're going wrong. Waiting till you're both in bed at the end of the day to get it on. That is when I am least randy. Bed at that time is for sleeping other wise I'd have a foul day the next day through lack of sleep. Try initiating sex middle of the day (on a weekend) or when you get home from work. Sod the grown up chores for an hour, burn tea if you have to. And sleep together anywhere but on your bed.

(I'm being facetious. Clearly the thing that is going wrong is the lack of meaningful communication between you).

Why did you make a move on her recently when you hadnt for such a long time?

I actually think you need to look a bit further than your work issues for not having had sex for so long, because theres something not right if you think your partner is beautiful, attractive and you still cant bring yourself to have sex with her.

And yes, its a two way thing, but I cant remember ever being in a loving relationship and not wanting to sleep with my partner at that time.

Any time I didnt want to sleep with someone, there were underlying issues and something wrong with the relationship.
