    Speak to a solicitor.
    But I would also suggest once you've done that to put the offer in writing. That way if court action did happen you have made an offer that seems, given the valuation, not altogther unreasonable.
    Good luck with everything else too.

    Just one other thing that you need to be aware of. The house is in joint names, which means he is a joint owner. That means he can enter the property - or even move back in again - and there is nothing you can do to stop him unless there is a court order in place preventing this. You really do need to go back to your solicitor and get the financial aspects of the divorce finalised.
